will need to write this number down and keep it for future reference. Do not lose this number.
If you live in Jefferson County, and would like to have the Jefferson County Emergency
Management Department place your FEMA number on file with the county for you, please call
them at 636-797-6200. The Jefferson County Emergency Management Office is open MondayFriday from 8AM-5PM
I would recommend placing your FEMA ID number on file with Jefferson County as a backup in
case your number gets misplaced as you deal with the disaster.

arrives.
When the FEMA inspector arrives, make sure to write down the following information:
1) The FEMA Inspectors Name
2) The FEMA inspectors badge number
3) The date and time the inspector arrives
During the inspection, you will need to provide the FEMA inspector the following information:

should receive a letter in the mail from FEMA indicating whether you qualify for assistance. If you
qualify for assistance, assistance available to you will be described in detail.
