Concepts of architectural dwgs; coordinate / grid system; structural layout;
earthquake- resistant design; water tower; sloshing effect; code references.

Elevated water tanks are commonly used for storing
water in public water distribution system and it
should be competent of keeping the expected
performance during and after earthquake. It has
large mass concentrated at the top of slender
