1 Overview
With Mail for Exchange app, you can access your email, calendar, and contacts of your Microsoft
Exchange account on your mobile phone. The Mail for Exchange app syncs updates from your email,
calendar, and contacts on your mobile phone with the content of your Microsoft Exchange, Office
365, or Hotmail account.
The latest release of Mail for Exchange supports the following phones:
Nokia Asha 300
Nokia 301 and Nokia 301 Dual SIM
Nokia Asha 302*
Nokia Asha 303 *
Nokia Asha 308
Nokia Asha 309
Nokia Asha 310
Nokia Asha 311
* Before installing Mail for Exchange, update phone software to release 14.53 or newer .
Note: Currently, you can only use one email account with Mail for Exchange.
4. The app fetches automatically your Exchange server name based on the data you gave. If this fails,
type your server name and check the Use SSL option. Select

Note: The mobile phones phonebook is not integrated with the Mail for Exchange app.
Tip: You can set the sync also later via Options > Settings > Sync Options.
9. Depending on your mail server security policy, you may be asked to define a lock password for Mail
for Exchange.
Note: If you type in your lock password wrong for too many times, remote wipe will happen. The
number of failed attempts is defined by your IT administrator.
10.The first sync starts for the sync items you selected.
Tip: To easily follow incoming email, you can:
Add a Mail for Exchange widget to your home screen by personalising the homescreen view.

7.1 Reset your account within the app or via remote wipe
To reset your account within the app:
1. In the Mail for Exchange App, go to Options > Settings > Reset.
2. Select Reset.
3. In the window that opens, click Ok.
When you uninstall Mail for Exchange from your Nokia phone by resetting your account or if a remote
wipe is launched, the following happens:
Your mailbox is deleted from your phone but remains on the Exchange server
Your emails are deleted from your phone but remain on the Exchange server
If you have enabled calendar sync, your calendar items and are deleted from your phone
If you have enabled contacts sync, your contacts are deleted from your phone
Note: If you wish to uninstall the app, it is recommended to reset the account first and then delete
the Mail for Exchange.
