Councillors Ann Haigh and Peter Spencer are urging residents to shop locally. `Our shopkeepers
need the support of residents at this difficult economic time,` Ann and Peter said. `Business rates
have been sharply increased and we need to think `SOS` -- Save Our Shops. It did not help in January
when many residents could not reach Queens Road because their roads and pavements had not
been gritted and Queens Road itself had not been given priority treatment.`

Epping Forest residents are angry that their local MP claimed for a second
home when they commute daily into London. They are angry our MP profited
from her tax payers- funded second home. Residents have told us they are pleased to receive FOCUS all year
round. Councillors Ann Haigh, Jill Sutcliffe, Angela Cass and Joyce Darby are always on hand to help. They
live in Buckhurst Hill and they stand up for local residents on the district and parish councils.
