Subscription fee

€ 50,- per person

The subscription fee includes meals and lodging in a youth hostel as well as the
conference transcript including all presentations held during the meeting.

If you do not want to sleep in a youth hostel please tell us,

we can recommend bed & breakfast pensions and hotels.
Please give notice if any of you is vegetarian to prepare special meals.

Fees shall be transferred to below bank account and apply at the same time as
registration to the Cave Rescue Meeting. Please state under „reason for transfer“ your
and/or your organisationʼs name.

highway A8 München - Salzburg - Exit Siegsdorf (Traunstein) on deutsche Alpenstraße,
border crossing Steinpass (tunnel) to Unken, Lofer and Saalfelden. No vignette
necessary

Call for papers

The focus this year will be the medical treatment inside the cave.
Since we want to compare our different approaches to the medical treatment I would like
to ask you to prepare presentations containing following topics:

Medical training
e.g.: emergency doctors, paramedics, cave rescuers to be first at the patient,
basic training for all cave rescue staff

Medical equipment
e.g.: emergency doctors, paramedics, cave rescuers to be first at the patient,
medical equipment around the stretcher, medical equipment for all cave rescuers

Care for the patient in the cave

Pain treatment: Possibilities and restrictions
When to start transportation
Caring for the patient during transport – principles
Example of interesting rescue including lessons learned (if available)

Additionally there will be the possibility to show the medical equipment used. We will
prepare tables and give also the possibility to show posters.

Although the main topic is the medical treatment noone wants to miss innovative
changes in the other organisations. So if you have news to share with the other
organisations there will be the possibility. Just hand in also the topic, so we can include
to the conference transcript.

You are invited to hand in the abstracts (topic and time planned) until March 30th
and the presentations until April 30th,
so the meeting schedule can be planned and the conference transcript prepared.

As a reference time we ask you to prepare presentations not longer than 20 minutes.
