Engineering Qualifications:

Bachelor of Civil Engineering [B.E Civil] with minimum 10years experience in quality
control and inspection. We need minimum 7yeras gulf experience te required for this
position.

Computer software Skills :

Microsoft Word & Excel

Primavera Project Planner P3,

Auto CAD (Rel 2010)

Responsibilities of civil q.a/q.c.engineer

Preparing and attending all preparatory and follow-up meetings, coordination

meetings, conducting third party inspections. To prepare the ITP for the
projects according the project scope.

Establishing site laboratory, concrete batching plant, performing calibration

of the equipments and scale, and managing operations of site laboratory and
the batching plant in accordance with the quality requirements
Conducting material tests, concrete cube testing etc at site laboratory in
witness with the independent laboratory

Implementing Quality management system on the projects as per the

project specifications and the requirements, through RFI, IR, MR, SO, NCR
etc.,

Assisting in developing Quality control plans and obtaining approvals from

client representative

Conducting all QC site inspections through RFI and closing the RFI and
maintaining the log and issuing the records

Assisting in preparing and implementing Inspection Test plans and test

procedures on projects as per the project specifications and requirements

Attending weekly Technical meeting / Quality with the consultants and

conduct periodically internal meeting with the QC Staff and ensuring
compliance to the quality procedures and plans

Holding meetings with the subcontractors / suppliers related to the quality

issues and its compliance in accordance with the project requirements and
the QA/QC Plan

Conducting internal audits and third party inspections as per the

requirements and Issuing corrective plans and preventive plans to comply the
non conformances on the project

Ensure document control system is maintained on the projects as per the

quality system and the project requirements, such as document numbering
and archiving

Reviewing the submittals prior to submission to the consultants to ensure the

compliance to the project specifications

Administering team of QC engineers and inspectors and monitor the QC

implantation on site in accordance to the project specifications and

procedures

Administering the Site laboratory and conducting the QA/QC procedures in

coordinating / witness with independent agencies / third party

Maintaining all the QA/QC documents flow in an organized effective manner

and close all the open listing of documents immediately

Organizing and establishing pre-inspection meetings and coordination of

source inspections

Review manufacture / Vendor quality plan and conducting vendor / factory

inspections and Factory acceptance tests (FAC)

Attending final walk through inspections and implementation of snag list

items, and assist in preparing contract close out documents as per the project
specifications and the requirements
Trouble shooting site issues, preparing technical proposals based on the
project standards and specifications
DESIRED PROFILE

The Site Engineer is responsible for the following:Preparation of site activity planning in the detailed project schedule.
To review the planned activities and confirm the actual resources including the human,

equipment, plant, documentation, work method and sub-contractor as applicable during

the site planning stages.

Daily and long term planning at site, coordination, control and efficient utilization of the

required resources for all site activities.

Coordination with QA/QC Engineer in receiving and inspection materials at site and

generation of material receiving records.

Coordination with QA/QC Engineer in reporting and disposition of NCRs at site.

Coordination with Safety Engineer for the safety arrangements at site prior to start any

activity at site.

Reconciliation of all mark up drawings needed for As-built drawing generation.

Arrange proper handling and storage of materials/equipment at project site.
Regular review/progress meeting with the project team, sub-contractor personnel on the

actual current site execution status and plan for the required resources to meet the
project target schedules/plans.
Overall coordination with the sub-contractor at project site.
Coordination with client representative on inspection/test witness and any other

contractual obligation.

Monitoring & control of the relevant company procedures to ensure that they are

followed correctly. Rectify and implement any deficiencies reported by the client or
QA/QC Engineer.

Overall coordination with QA/QC Engineer, Project Engineer and all other engineers

working at project site.

Coordination of all requests for inspection at site and arrangement for inspection and

testing at various stages.

Monitoring, progress certifications, formal reporting and documentation including quality

control of the execution of the work in accordance with the procedures and
requirements.
