MY NEXT JOB

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE
AND A BASIC SYNERGY TRAINING

WHAT IS
IT
In this international youth exchange, the focus is to give a better chance to unemployed
people to either get the job they want, or create it by themselves.
In this project, we will explore job market changings, outdated concepts about work, high
youth unemployment, deficient guidance for unemployed young people, as well as too
narrowly focused formal education.
The idea is to give young unemployed people a chance to play with the concepts they
were brought up to believe were true.
MAIN
GOAL
The participants will be given a set of skills that will help them to be more creative when facing
the job market, whether in presenting themselves, whether in creating their own jobs.
The concept of the whole program is what we call Basic Synergy Training that its all about doing,
involving the participants fully, to take ownership of their learning and the content of the exchange,
to be engaged physically, mentally and emotionally. This approach will have a big impact on the
questions we are raising in the exchange

FOLLOW UP
Once the participants will be back home after the project, they will be able to use the gained knowledge in real life.
They will be encouraged and supported from us and from their sending organizations to share the most useful tools, tips and
tricks, from the exchange that can help other young people to increase their employability.
They will be supported and encouraged to implement activities such as: writing and publishing articles in their local media,
holding presentations and workshops about the exchange in order to spread the word and the results of the project in their
local communities.
Participants will be also encouraged to fill in the Youthpass form after the project, in order to officially state the competences
acquired.
