Reservation: amazing Indian concept: Reservations are a part of Indian constitution
since it was introduced however, earlier it was incorporated for 10 years only but, later
on it was kept on being a part of Indian society irrespective of its redundancy. Those who
do not know what reservation is:
Well, "It is reserved seats for certain caste group named as SC ST and OBC".
Reservation in educational institutions, where a minimum amount of percentage is
sufficient to get them at the place where others who belong to general category need to
slog for real good percentage.
Reservation in jobs: Even those, who have already got reservation in education, are
again eligible to get it in jobs. Same story repeated here; 'compromise in quality'. Quality
standards are very bad for the reserved category in spite of form charges being free or
nominal.
Now reservation does not stop here, that finally they got job now, at least let them prove
themselves by performing well, NO, they still have reservation in promotion. Service
conditions are different, years of seniority are less for a reserved candidate and quality
standards are compromised for the reserved candidates.

Now the question is at how many stages reserved class requires these special
privileges. Those who belongs to these classes "except few self respecting exceptions"
do not even try to deliver quality instead, they are happy with the situation that we will
get admission anywhere, job anywhere, even if we will get a pathetic 45% of result for
which a general category student need to slog for above 90%.
Well it is not bad for general students because they are getting excellent in giving quality
as, hard work does not hurt anyone but, the reserved category people are not seen with
respect. And why should they be because, they are actually stating that because of
lack of resources we lack IQs too which is far from truth.
They take reservation from generations three very close examples I have where fathers
are class one officers, living in good cities, with all the facilities still, their sons have
taken reservation and now planning for their kids also to get into the same league.
I think reservation should be applicable to one generation in a family that too only at one
time of his/ her life. Means: either at the stage of secondary education, or higher
education, or in job, or in promotion, not in all the sections.
Why not improved education standard be given in government schools with good
facilities, salaries and infrastructure and then a fair competition for all? Why reserved
category is afraid of it?
They were being suppressed granted, but 'reservation' is also a kind of suppression
where their future generation will stop relying upon its ability and look forward to
special privileges as beggars, which will result in lack of confidence, frustration,
inferiority complex, and no respect in society.
(They still suffer from all this but are not ready to understand)
How long they will rely upon this divide and rule policy of Indian government. Its time; to
think, about the mental growth of their future generation which, is really at risk.
