1. This assignment contains only ONE (1) question that is set in both Malay and English. / Tugasan ini
mengandungi SATU (1) soalan sahaja yang disediakan dalam bahasa Melayu dan bahasa Inggeris.
2. Answer in Malay or English. / Jawab dalam bahasa Melayu atau bahasa Inggeris.
3. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from the myVLE for preparation
and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point Times New Roman
font and 1.5 line spacing. / Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa yang berkenaan daripada
myVLE untuk penyediaan dan penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan anda hendaklah ditaip dengan

4. Your assignment should be between 2500 to 3000 words excluding references. Do not copy the

approximate word limit will be assessed. The number of words should be shown at the end of your
assignment. / Tugasan anda hendaklah mengandungi 2500 hingga 3000 patah perkataan tidak termasuk
rujukan. Bilangan perkataan hendaklah ditunjukkan di hujung tugasan anda. Jangan menyalin soalan

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
Young children are naturally creative. Set up some props and a variety of materials for a
dramatic play in the socio-dramatic centre/area, so that children can play at taking on the
various roles of people around them.
1. Select 2-3 children aged 4 years or younger and describe the childrens background.
2. Record or videotape the behaviours of these children as they explore and experiment
with various types of materials.
3. Identify and describe various examples of childrens actions and conversations which
demonstrate their perspectives and creativity.
4. Evaluate the role of social environment in facilitating the emergence of these
childrens creative tendencies. Narrate examples of behaviours and conversations
used by the teacher or by other children that support or inhibit creativity of the
observed children. Explain why?
5. Use at least TWO theories or research findings to explain your observations of the
childrens creative abilities in your study.

What are the principles of creativity

implemented in the activities that you have observed? How can childrens creativity
be nurtured so it is maintained throughout their lives?

SOALAN TUGASAN
Kanak-kanak kecil adalah secara semulajadinya kreatif.

Sediakan beberapa prop dan

pelbagai bahan untuk satu permainan drama di pusat/kawasan drama-sosial, supaya kanakkanak boleh bermain mengambil pelbagai peranan orang di sekeliling mereka.
1. Pilih 2-3 kanak-kanak yang berusia berusia 4 tahun atau lebih muda dan ceritakan
latar belakang kanak-kanak yang dipilih.
2. Rekod atau videotape tingkah laku kanak-kanak tersebut ketika mereka meneroka dan
bereksperimen dengan pelbagai jenis bahan.
3. Kenal pasti dan huraikan beberapa contoh tindakan dan perbualan yang menunjukkan
perspektif dan kreativiti kanak-kanak tersebut.
4. Jelaskan peranan persekitaran sosial dalam memudahkan kemunculan bakat kreatif
kanak-kanak tersebut. Huraikan contoh tingkah laku dan perbualan yang digunakan
oleh pendidik atau kanak-kanak lain yang menyokong atau menghalang kreativiti
kanak-kanak dalam kajian. Terangkan mengapa?
5. Gunakan sekurang-kurangnya DUA teori atau hasil kajian untuk menjelaskan
pemerhatian anda terhadap kebolehan kreatif kanak-kanak dalam kajian anda.
Apakah prinsip kreativiti yang dilaksanakan dalam aktiviti yang anda perhatikan ?
