Overview of BookMySunbed
Helping Beach Resorts to attract Customers
BookMySunbed gives customers a quick and
simple way to make online Sunbed
reservations at beach resorts of their choice,
without the need of a towel.
In association with MediaBase Direct, an App
and Database specialist, BookMySunbed has
moved from concept to reality in a short space
of time. Using MediaBase Directs 20 years of
knowledge has assisted us with the nancial
and technical developments of
BookMySunbed.
BookMySunbed was created when it became
obvious that booking a Sunbed on holiday
wasnt a customer friendly experience. We have
spent the last year researching resorts across
the world and researching various travel review
sites e.g. Tripadvisor, Trivago, Travelzoo, to
name a few, and quickly realised that Sunbed
Wars and Sunbed Anxiety was a common
theme for negativity from most holiday makers.
Our development team have spent over a year
making this user-friendly App, which simplies
the reservation process and helps the
customers deal with the resorts in an easier
manner.
BookMySunbed enables the beach resorts to
list themselves on the Apps Resort Directory,
and create their own custom beach layouts.
So, for the rst time ever, customers can select
their Sunbeds of choice (exactly as you can
choose a cinema seat or an airline seat) directly
by using the App.
Resorts can reduce the time and burden of
administration and increase their reach and
accessibility to new customers whilst improving
their brand perception.

The BookMySunbed App The mobile optimised App will be available for free on iOS and Android stores. Some

Adapt your layout

We understand that resorts layouts can change at any time,


given dierent events and seasonal periods. That is why
BookMySunbed gives resorts the freedom to use a simple drag
and drop template design, without needing any technical
experience.
This feature gives the resorts the ability to increase or decrease
pricing of beds, depending on the day. If they were looking at
adding another row of sunbeds, changing bed groupings or
perhaps adding an additional VIP row, this is all possible in a
matter of minutes via the BookMySunbed dashboard.
Alongside this, the resorts are able to add various conditions to
reservations e.g. all reservations require a restaurant booking
and bed positions can only be guaranteed until 12:00pm.

All changes and modications that are made, will


be instantly seen by the resorts prospective
customers via the BookMySunbed App.
All walk-in, telephone and email bookings can
easily be taken via the dashboard and once an
email is captured the customer will receive an
automatic reservation conrmation to give them
peace of mind.
We are here to help both customers and resorts,
we give the resorts the freedom to handle
customer reservations directly.

BookMySunbed is a Resort Directory and a Resort Reservation Service, and does not take
any money from consumers (in the same way that OpenTable, BookATable, ResDiary work)

Resort Monthly Listing on BookMySunbed
Cost - 5.99, 7.99 and $8.99 (12 month contract)
Check In Fee 3% commission applicable only on checked in customers at the
resort.

Our Target Market for Launch


How can you help?
We have chosen to target Southern Spain, Greece and South of France as our pilot area for
BookMySunbed. Although we have contacts and knowledge in these areas, we want to
make sure we are talking to the right people, communicating with the right resorts and
getting our message out there loud and clear.
We are looking for support from an agency to gain visibility in these areas and penetrate
the market. Exposure is a big part of what we are trying to do with this campaign, we are
disturbing a market place that hasnt been touched and disrupting how consumers make
Sunbed reservations.
We would want a demonstration that you have the required experience and expertise that
will benet us and provide us with a specication for what you will do, when and with
outlined costings for consideration.
It is an exciting time for us at BookMySunbed and we hope to work alongside you to help
rid the 6:30am wake up calls to run down to the pool in search of a Sunbed.

Oh but of course you would have needed to tip either the beach staff to
reserve a sunbed, or risen at 6am to claim your ownthis could be a 5* resort
but its not.its inexcusable to have insufficient
