The portrayal of Muslims as for

causing
terrorism from the western
media.
Rationale:
Media is the most powerful weapon for communicating all over
the world that includes mainly T.V, internet, blogs, articles etc. As
all of us has been hearing not all Muslims are terrorist, but every
terrorist is a Muslim, this is a slogan very common for every
Muslim called upon by the Non-Muslims .This slogan or stereotype
is being enforced by the western media all over the world. This
isnt a mistake that is made by Non-Muslims but this is the
message conveyed mainly by the western media all over the
world. So my internal assessment is mainly about the wrong
portrayal of image by the media. I will be using official evidence
by using the knowledge I have gained by reading articles by top
writers and some of it told by top journalists, I will be putting
ideology of both the ends, of Muslims and of Non-Muslims. By
the evidence I will be proving how wrong the media is all of the
time when saying that all of the terrorism is caused by Muslim
and not by Non-Muslim. I will not be denying the fact that
Muslims are involved in terrorism but a very small percentage of
them are involved.

Terrorism is defined as the unofficial or unauthorized use of

violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. It is any
act designed to cause terror. This is the globally used definition.
But the definition used by mainly western media is that the act of
violence/terrorism caused by Muslims, but according to official
statistics it shows that Muslims are not involved in 98% of the
terror attacks caused globally, so what I believe is that if the
terrorism caused by Muslim is only 2% so it doesnt justifies
Muslims as terrorists. What the media actually does is that it over
exaggerates the 2% into 98% and this is the cause that leads to
appraisal of the angriness or fights, the foreign ministers
altogether of the both ends can do nothing for bringing peace or
enhancing relations because the mindset of both the ends are
filled with enmity and this enmity is caused by the media of both
ends. The media is the most drastic weapon that gives rise to
enmity in both ends hence as everything that media says, the
audience is totally convinced by that results in event such as war.
So now I am going to show some statistics that shows the actual
evidence of how much terrorism is caused by Muslims. Lets start
with Europe. As Europol the European Union for law-enforcing
agency noted in its last report released last year the vast majority
of terrorist attacks in Europe was perpetrated by separatists
group. For example, in 2013 there were 152 attacks in Europe.
The data gathered by Europol strengthens my argument even
further. Europol publishes an annual report entitled EU Terrorism
Situation and Trend Report. The results are stark, and prove
decisively that not all terrorists are Muslims. In fact a whopping
99.6% of terrorists attacks in Europe were by non-Muslims group;

a good 84.8% of attacks were from separatist group completely

unrelated to Islam. Leftist groups accounted for over sixteen
times as much terrorism as radical Islamic groups. Only 0.4% of
terrorists attack from 2006 to 2008 were carried out by extremist
Muslim group. Doesnt this says it all everything is stated above
but still the media doesnt bring this figure up instead bashing
Muslims on the other less than 2%. The people against Islam are
the ones making the slogan more believable amongst other
people, but according to the official FBI report they say that from
1980 to 2005 only 6% attacks on US soil were carried out by
Islamic extremist including the 9\11 and 94% attacks are from
other groups including 42% off Latinos, 24% from extreme left
wing groups, 7% from extremist Jews, 5% from communists, and
16% from all other groups. But does the western media puts this
as their hot topic on news or even just as a normal news? No it
doesnt but if it did so the circumstances and the environment of
both worlds would have been different. Russian airstrikes are
killing more people in Syria then ISIS and American military
intervention is also causing a fair amount of damage but these
type of news are not taken seriously by the media and the people
because its the super power that comes in action. Ok so what
