Join the students for a morning of tantalising Italian tasters that they will have been prepared on our
Elba stoves.
They will share recipes as well as hints and tips on how to create the perfect risottos; homemade pasta
into cannelloni; light-as-a-feather gnocchi; tiramisu with your-own homemade lady-finger biscuits
and much more...
Bottomless Terbodore coffee is included in the cost.

The first Friday of every month sees our popular Weber Grill Academy.
If you think it cant be done on a Weber well show you it can
Demonstrations are by award-winning chef and business owner, Jackie Cameron.
You will have the opportunity to taste the results, and recipes will be supplied.
All fish used at the school is Sassi green-listed.
Every student gets to take home the recipes and a WEBER goodie.
Dates: 5 February, 4 March, 1 April, 6 May, 3 June, 1 July, 5 August, 2 September, 7 October and 4 November
Time: 18h00 to 22h00

SUNDOWNER WITH A DIFFERENCE


Every month we will showcase two different wine estates.
The students will pair bite-size tastings for the various cultivars being presented, and well ask you to comment on
the snacks and how well they pair with the respective wines.
This will be a relaxed, informal get together of people who enjoy fine fare - and for those who would like to gain
appreciation for this sociable activity.
Its the experience that counts... And remember theres no right or wrong; its all about your opinion.
So, on the way home from work, stop off for a sundowner of a food-and-wine pairing with a difference.

UPSKILL YOUR HOUSEKEEPER


Ever wished you could hand over the cooking - sometimes?
Thebalethu Zuma who has worked with Jackie Cameron and pretty-much grown up in the Cameron familys home will
conduct classes in Zulu to ensure every skill is fully understood.
Topics to be addressed include hygiene, knife skills, filling up the cookie jar, storage, food preparation and more.
It is suggested that students bring their own knives. This is to ensure they are familiar and comfortable with the
equipment they will be using in the home.
In the hands-on classes they will learn to make the perfect dishes that include meals such as:

lamb curry with sambles and mielie bread - and a malva pudding

roast a chicken with three vegetables and stuffing

in-season vegetable soup

bread

new-age salads

pasta with sauce

pesto with a homemade pasta in the form of lasagne

smoked-salmon terrine

pan-seared beef with chips and hand-sliced vegetables

French vanilla-bean ice cream

The meals cooked will not be taken home because the idea is for your housekeeper to make these dishes in your
kitchen so you can send back a progress report each week.
Students will leave the class with a list of ingredients and recipes with in-detail instructions.
If you are unable to do the transfers, and live within a 20km radius of Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine,
we will supply transport for your housekeeper.
Please let me know if a more basic class - with dishes such as cottage pie; spaghetti bolognaise; roast chicken;
bangers and mash; chicken a la king, chops; fried eggs; fritters and moussaka - would better suit your purposes.

At Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine you can tailor-make your class. Just reveal your budget and youll be
advised what can be done as well as the number of hours you have bought. The courses range from
demonstrations to hands-on cooking; from a few hours to an entire day and from tasters to a meal.
A Jackie Cameron gift box that comprises items such as a chef jacket, apron and Jackie Cameron Cooks at Home
recipe book could also be included. You choose Jackie Camerons school delivers. These bespoke cookery classes
will have you going back for more and teach you how Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine can put a bit of
spice into your private functions...

DO IT THE JACKIE CAMERON WAY


Jackie will share her culinary skills during two-day cooking classes, starting in March.
About 40 simple, tantalising recipes for home cooking - from the book Jackie Cameron Cooks at Home will be demonstrated, and copies of all recipes are included in the fee.
Lunch will comprise tasters of the various dishes being highlighted.
There, however, will be a charge for all beverages ordered.
Jackies autographed recipe book will be on sale for R270.
A group of 15 is required to make up a class.
Date: 19 and 20 March, 23 and 24 April, 14 and 15 May, 25 and 26 June,30 and 31 July, 20 and 21 August
Time: 09h00 15h00
Cost: R1 800 per person Booking is essential first to book chooses the recipes to be demonstrated.

Classes will be confirmed as soon as proof of payment has been received.

A weeks notice is required for cancellations or for the changing of the number of delegates or students for events.

No-shows or late cancellations will be charged the full rate.

Date changes of confirmed bookings will be accommodated if possible, however no refunds will be considered.

We accommodate a minimum of 12 and a maximum number is determined by the event. No refunds will be made
for a decrease in numbers 10 days before the event; we are able to accommodate an increase in numbers up to
2 days before the event.

We are able to accommodate different starting times depending on bookings.

Remember to disclose your dietary requirements with your booking.

Student gratuities are not included in any of the rates.
