CHICKEN GOUJONS (NUGGETS)

Ingredients
Skinless chicken breast fillets
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp milk
Seasoning
Fine White Breadcrumbs (Hale & Hearty)

Method
Preheat oven to 220 C, gas 9
Line one or two large baking sheets with baking
paper.
Cut chicken fillets into thin strips.
In a bowl beat egg with olive oil, milk and
seasoning.
Add the chicken strips and mix well.
Spread breadcrumbs on a large plate or tray.
Roll the chicken strips in the crumbs, coating
them evenly.
Place on the baking sheet. Sprinkle any remaining
crumbs over and bake for 15/20 minutes until crisp
and golden.
Alternatively heat oil for deep-frying to 190c and
fry the chicken strips in batches for approx 3 4
minutes until they are crisp and golden.
