THE RICH GREEDY AND LaZARus 1

(Luke, 16: 19-31)

“There was a certain man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there
was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores”. (Luke, 16: 19; 20)

Jesus, for our spiritual edification told a parable of a rich and greedy man that lived well and a poor man that
lived at his portal, both died, the rich man went to a torment state and the poor to Abraham bosom (celestial rest ).
Well, I will analyze within my spiritist knowledge.
Let us see: in life the rich man was greedy, intolerant, selfish, proud and ignorant of the laws of God, lost in
the illusions of money, disinterested in the other people, after dying, he found himself in the life of the beyond, other life
that gave continuation to this one and he remembered his life in the Earth, he is regretful and sorry, he finds himself
lacking, more tolerant, he undergoes Abraham and he begs for his brothers; now he has love for his neighbour, he is
altruistic, he humbles to ask for himself and for his brothers, he is now a changed person, he only wants well towards
everybody.
Lazarus is now in a condition of helping, but he is not able to, because there are abysses among them;
Lazarus won the virtue of understanding and of love, he vibrates now in condition of worthy:
"To each one according to their works", but in Jesus' saying:
"Everything that you ask the Father He gives", like this God answers to the supplication of the rich in the:
“with God all things are possible", (Matthew, 19: 26) and like this allowing to the rich and the poor Lazarus to return to
the world, however now inverted the case, the rich comes poor and the poor comes rich.
And, now Lazarus in the spirit condition more developed, and tolerant he will help (to wet the thirsty mouth of
the rich), the rich and the poor, both will be one the complement of the other in their happiness and in the future lived their
lives they disincarnate and go to the beyond, now without abysses and they will live in Abraham's bosom, “what is
impossible for man is possible for God", what a wonderful God we have, God is Father and remains no doubts, Oh,
blessed opportunity that God gives us in the flesh for us to be able to rescue ourselves in the reincarnation.
The rich uses the flesh as a still to purify himself.
In this teaching of the rich and of the poor one sees that the flesh dies, but the true being leaves the flesh,
the brain or memory of the flesh fades away, but the true memory goes on with the spirit, proving that the true memory is
the one of the spirit, he remembers, he knows that his brothers need help, in the beyond there are no mental blockades
everything is clear for the spirits.
They are sorry, they progress; God assists them and converses with them, now they make plans and they
suggest to God; very different from here when in a squeeze one answers: "be damned,”What I want is to look after
myself" this is except some Christians or educated people, not now, the rich changed of attitude and of thinking, of living,
he sees his responsibility, he talks with Abraham, he struggles for the neighbor’s good, and he who serves his neighbour,
serves God.
There is regret in the beyond, there is understanding, there is tolerance, there is love, there is responsibility,
there is prayer, there is short-prayer, there is hope, there is planning for the future, who does not see that; oh who does
not see that!?
We are the heirs of ourselves, because: "our works follow us", and in the case of the rich, he arrived to the
beyond in empty hands and lacking and inherited torments, it was not for being rich, it was for being selfish, unbeliever of
God and ignorant, but now he has progressed, in the beyond he is already tolerant and responsible, etc.

He needs, however, to return to the flesh to give continuation to the conclusions that he arrived in his
learning, he is no longer ignorant of the laws of God.
Likewise the beggar Lazarus, did not go to Abraham's bosom for being poor, but for having accepted his
condition and been confident in God, with hope that his days of suffering were necessary, he conformed himself and
blessed God, while the rich greedy-man and proud certainly thought that he was very important caught on to his fortunes
and privileges of power that fortune brings, as well as the good life in the flesh; fleshly pleasures.
Lazarus passed, a proof, but in the laws of God he will not be stationary enjoying his deserts, he will proceed
forward and continue progressing and ascending towards God, even if he already has advanced merits, he feels after
some time as a Avatar, the call and need to enter in a carnal body to put in practice and to prove his love towards God.
Both rich and poor in hades, threshold and erraticity make plans with the help of superior spirits, an
incarnation which would give continuation to their spiritual degree in progress and redemption, the poor certainly as a poor
rescued something, because God does not punish anybody, in other words, the laws of God do not punish, he was poor,
but he was the author of his situation, now although in a better situation, he ought not nor he should feel superior to the
rich; simply now he finds himself in a situation of being able to help his neighbour and come to the world as a missionary,
even if it only be to help the rich that needs his help, but, also because only the vibrations equaled in the flesh can help,
thence, suddenly reincarnation becomes almost that as a pardon of God.
The Law of Fraternity has to be accomplished, the Law of Love also, and the Law of progress, of
responsibility and of Duty also, and it is like this that at the same time in that we are the authors of our future we are also
what we are by the grace of God, because only with His help and His power we can come back to the work field in the
flesh to redempt ourselves and to develop ourselves towards God.
Nobody is a criminal before God, nobody is lost.
God speaks and advises all His children and to the world He has sent His son Jesus (Spirit more developed
that ever embodied in Earth) to become Master and to accompany our sojourning.
God be praised and Jesus our brother be blessed for so much loving us. And in the future one will see the
rich very poor rescuing his faults and one will say: “poor fellow, suffering poverty being him such a good man”, could it be
that God is not seeing that?
And, God keeps Himself quiet giving him the forgetfulness which is almost that as a pardon of God!
Him (the rich now reincarnated as a poor) instinctively and intuitively he knows that there should have been
some reason for his living so afflicted and grievously, because he knows that God is just, and, he lives a life without
rioting, only that the people around do not understand and they think that God does not know, “but God when He forgives
He forgets" and nor the rich nor the people know which is the reason of rescuing, therefore he has the forgetfulness of his
last lives which is almost as a pardon from God; but Jesus teaches us: “Blessed the simple, because theirs is the kingdom
of heaven." And as for the pardon the disciples asked the Lord "how many times we should forgive, should we forgive
seven times?" and Jesus would have said: “I do not say seven times, but seventy times seven times."
Now, in this parable one also sees that Abraham would not allow Lazarus to return to the died flesh, because
that would be resurrection of the flesh. God does not open exceptions, the laws of God are perfect and they do not need
be repealed or broken, then Abraham recommends that the brothers of the rich, that they have Moses (laws) and the
prophets (mediums) who can help them, that if his brothers do not believe in the prophets much less would they believe if
they saw Lazarus.
Of course we know that there are mediums with the talent of helping with ectoplasm spirits to materialize
themselves or to use their second sight to express themselves, however we have free will and it is necessary that we
accept the consequences of our mistakes for our learning and not in being removed by somebody else because that
would not give experience and the spirit would be without merit of effort and without progress, thence the spirit who
wandered needs to be reincarnated to rescue, and he brings with himself his lacks or bad inclinations, because if evil is in
him only he can work himself up until getting right his progress and his evolution.
And, then it is he himself the author of his own works and the day will come in which "paid the last farthing"
(Luke, XII: 59), he ascends to better worlds.
There is still to speak that in the end of their incarnated lives, as much the rich as the poor immediately in the
laws of God automatically were judged and they inherited their good fruits or bad immediately, and not in the end of the
times, in the sense of they could only live once only, subsequently in the end of each life comes the judgment or spiritual
evaluation of each lived life, and it is also noticed that their love for us, in the beyond prevails, so much that the rich asks
for his brothers we also embodied no few times we ask God for those who passed for the beyond.
There is also to explain that Jesus did not come to repeal the laws and that this teaching was to emphasize
the law of causes and effects and not as many think to be, for communion prohibition with the saints, because Jesus knew
very well about that so much that he had communion with Moses and Elias in Tabor.

2
Well, for today I closet the study, because was already prolong and then may God be with us with His love
as well as our Lord Jesus and why not in communion with the ones that God allows to live together with us, very grateful
to God, to Jesus and the good Spirits.
