We have selected 15 different countries for the analysis of Human Development Index.

The HDI combines three dimensions:

* Life expectancy at birth, as an index of population health and longevity

* Knowledge and education, as measured by the adult literacy rate (with two-thirds weighting) and the combined primary, secondary, and tertiary gross
enrollment ratio (with one-third weighting).
* Standard of living, as measured by the natural logarithm of gross domestic product per capita at purchasing power parity.

We have taken these three indices from the latest Human Development report and formulate HDI by applying following formula:
HDI = (LEI+EI+GDP index)/3

In the last column a positive figure indicates that the HDI rank is higher than the GDP per capita (PPP US$) rank; a negative figure, the opposite. This also indicates
that countries like US, Malaysia, Iran, India, Pakistan, Mali and Central Africa have high GDP per capita than HDI which shows the spendings by general public in
these countries are less.
