11.0 Network operation

It is imperative to consult the responsible system
administrator for all work in a network!
The user is responsible for the data backup. ATMOS
is not liable for any data loss!
It is described how the installation and settings (not
the data!) is protected in a network.
Besides the single workstation the ATMOS Diagnostic
Cube can also be configurated for use in a network.
By installing the diagnostic software on various
workstations it is possible to retrieve the examinations
on different PCs.

))

Naturally the control of the ATMOS Diagnostic Cube

is only possible from the PC when it is connected via
a USB 2.0.

Configuration menu System of the module program Sono 31

The following steps are necessary in order to access the

diagnostic data via a network.

))

The listed network paths to the file server of the ATMOS

Diagnostic Cube in the network ...\AGHData\ are only
examples and could depending on the local situation
be named differently.

))

For an easy communication in a support case it would

be an advantage if the here mentioned structures and
names for the folders and files of the ATMOS Diagnostic Cube Installation are adopted. \AGHData\ and
the following.

yy Create a partition / a directory with the file ...\AGHData\ in the

network with full access rights for all users / workstation, also
those which are only used for the visualization of the examinations results (e.g. \\Server\AGHData).
yy Adjustment of the new path for the measurement database and
the patient database of the module programs in the respective
configuration menus.
yy How to obtain the respective configuration menu is described
in the single user installation.

))

The following adaptions must be performed on each

workstation.

Configuration menu System of the module program Rhino 31

11.1 Adaption of the patient database for

the network operation
yy Copy the contents of the folder C:\AGHData\Data in the partition
just created / of the network directory just created (in example
\\Server\AGHData\Data).
yy In the configuration menu of the patient management under
System enter this path, under which the database can be
found in the network server. (e.g.: \\Server\AGHData\ Data)

11.2 Adaption of the respective module

software Sono 31, Rhino 31, Tymp 31
for the network operation
Besides the patient database in each case the path to the location
for the measuring values database in the network must be entered
into the configuration menu of the respective module software.

21

11.0 Network operation

The measuring values database should also be copied into the
directory in the network when the directory C:\AGHDiag\Data is
copied.

))

For each module software the database path must be

adapted separately

yy For each module software open the tab System in the respective configurations menu.
yy Enter in the field database - directory the new path to the databases location in the network (e.g.\\Server\AGHData\Data)
yy Pay attention to correct spelling and capital and lower-case
letters.

))

The fields Export and Import must remain empty

during a network installation. These are exclusively
used for communication with a connection to a practice software.

11.3 Backup file

Configuration menu System of the module program Tymp 31

yy Create a folder for the ATMOS Diagnostic Cube in the network

folder with the name Mirror (e.g.:\\Server\ AGHData\Mirror\) as
a backup directory for the complete installation of the ATMOS
Diagnostic Cube.
yy Copy the complete local installation files C:\ AGHDiag into
the newly created backup file in the network (e.g.: \\Server\
AGHData\Mirror\).

Path on the server

(Example: \\Server\D:\WS1\

In doing so all the adjustments and installation data can be saved.

In the case of a new installation it can eventually be copied back
into the respective directory. This way the original configuration
can be re-established.
