i)

Briefly describe the history of the Tenderer including


details of substantial changes during in past three (3)
years ( in no more than two pages of A4 size);
In year 2015, the business was operating under the
name *SWEET FOOD SUPPLY CENTRE*. It was the
concept of *LOCAL PACKED FOOD AND BAKERY*store.
It has been closed at the end of year 2005 due to
KUCHING INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT RENOVATION
WORKS.
*Sweet Food Supply* have been famous of their
LOCAL PACKED FOOD especially *Kueh & snack
traditional Sarawak* . The customers always looking
for their local packed food.

For your information, we have been operating 2


convenience stores at Level 1 and Level 3 KIA , one
Conveneince Store at Sibu Airport and Twinkle pan
(kiosk) at KIA. We have bountiful of Airport Local
packed food business experience and transaction
and a wide spectrum of business concepts. With
this, we confidently say that, branching out
another store for Local Packed Food at Kuching will
not be a major problem either in terms of
admistrative, financial or management.
On 9th Nov 2011, Madam Lim Hii ching the
outlet manager of Sweet Food convenience Store

I was born and raised in Dalat- the administrative town of the


Dalat Dsitrict in Mukah Division and is now residining in Kuching.
So I am well familiar with the all Sarawak Local products and
highly enthusiastic to market our Sarawak Local products.
I have business supporting partners *FIDAUZ (afifi) *KEK LAPIS in
which he has been awarded *SIJIL SARAWAK BEST * KEKE LAPIS
and *SITI PAYUNG* specialized in *KEK LAPIS ROLL* especially
ROLL kinder bueno, roll Kit Kat and roll sweet nutella. These are
very UNIQUE and special ONLY SOLD at my outlet which not
found in downtown market.
My family members have been operating *fishing Industry*
-Riverside Seafood and Riverside seafood Restaurant at Mukah.
They are supplying FRESH LOCAL IKAN TERUBUK MASIN
ORIGINAL, prawn and fish to all the market of Sarawak. Besides,
they also produce *AA PRAWN & IKAN KEROPOK* using high
quality ingredients. These are the best keropok for all the
Semenanjung and Sarawak favorites snack.
Mukah is rich of local products in Sarawak. Every year, there will
be organizing *PESTA KAUL LOCAL FOODS Festival* to

To date, our store has organized various excitement sales activities


throughout the year (attached for your kind reference)(Appendix A)
including joint Campaign and promotion with Malaysia Airport Mega
sales by giving free gift and gift voucher, sampling, lucky draws,
win & dip to build and strengthen the brand *KIA SHOPPING*.
We have also improved Survey Ratings by conducting annual
survey and comment forms (attached) to passengers, customers
and staff so as to improve in which ever area that we
overlooked/neglected and to maintain our high quality customer
service and professional standards.
Apart from this, we also give special discount to the airport staff. In
conjunction with seasonal festivals Aidilfitri, New Year,Chinese New
Year, Deepavali, Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day our store
gives away *FREE GIFTS* to all passengers and airport staff who
drop in to promote our sale. The purpose of all this events is to
promote the campaign ultimately driving sales performance that to
meet the target of margin sales of MAB. The Campaign had not only
enhanced the shopping ambiance, offerings and privileges but also
overall customer experience.
Besides, in order to create top of mind awareness that airports are
shopping destinations by promoting our airport store to school,
colleges and Universities we have started to reach out to the above
mentioned.

Part of Sweet Food Convenience Store aim is to contribute to the


publicity to the Association, by putting up a donation box at our
outlet to corporate social responsibility. This will strengthen the
relationship between the customers as a whole, it will receive
overwhelming response from the public to support and patronize

display and location of local packed foods. A more

encourage greater browsing and local packed food
displays may dispose consumers to buy on impulse.
THE STORE will portray a local native ambient
furnished with wooden shelf and filled native selling
items. The manin concept of this store is to provide a
touch of native nostalgia feeling, so the decotions will
be mainly deocative items found in Sarawak culture
heritage.

Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd does not guarantee the
availability of the additional facilities but will endeavour to
satisfy the needs of the Tenderer. The Tenderer will be
required to pay for the additional facilities. If such
additional facilities are not provided by Malaysia Airports
Sdn. Bhd, state how you will meet such requirements.

We intend to provide a small area for 3 computers


in our convenience store to cater for internet
