1 Introduction
This document constitutes the Software Tool Inventory. This document is intended for use in the
tool classification, qualification or certification processes for software tools outlined in standards
such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and EN 50128. It provides a template to list the software tools
used in the project under consideration and their corresponding tool classification / qualification
/ certification documentation.
Note The applicant needs to review this template for applicability to the project under
consideration, insert missing information, and delete information not relevant for the standard at
hand.
