The core curriculum, taken mostly in the first year, supplies an expansive set of new business frameworks and management
skills that can be applied immediately outside the classroom. As part of the core, all students participate in two Global Study
Toursweeklong international residencies in dynamic markets.
In addition to the core curriculum, students can tailor their MBA program based on their professional goals and interests
through choice of electives. Students also have the option of specializing in one or more areas of study. Whatever route you
take, all paths lead to an NYU Stern MBA.

Collaboration
NYU Stern Executive MBA students
are professionally and academically
accomplished, with a self-awareness
that demonstrates the strong emotional
intelligence imperative in todays business
leaders. With this combination of
intellectual and interpersonal skills, our
Executive MBA students become partners
in their educational experience, sharing
knowledge and building upon each others
strengths. Assigned cross-functional study
groups further facilitate the peer-to-peer
learning, allowing for discovery of diverse
approaches to problem solving. Working
within these high-performing teams,
students are also able to complement
each others skill sets and schedules.
