Capabilities:
Powers System Study: Low and Medium design and implementation of network; planning, design
and implementation of distribution networks to rural and urban areas; cost reduction and
optimization, end-user connections and meter. Services also include problem tree analysis, prefeasibility and feasibility studies of the sector, data review and analyses, stakeholder interaction etc.
Energy Efficiency Study: This covers conducting demand and supply side assessments, identifying
and developing potential clean energy projects; improving district heating system, Industrial Energy
Efficiency Analysis and Adoption.
Renewable Energy Development: Studying renewable/sustainable energy sources such as solar,
wind, hydro, biomass etc. Through feasibility studies of the resources we produce an outcome of a
well-researched, realistic, and well-structured assessment covering various aspects pertaining to
efficient renewable energy.
Climate Change Mitigation: Our knowledge of energy systems and markets as well as climate

Energy Sector Master Planning: Consists reviewing energy sector institutional capacity
development and energy conservation laws, developing and up grading energy sector policies,
strategies, laws, tariffs, and regulations, master plan and statistical data available through National
Statistical Office. This also includes preparing fuel price forecasts based on imported fuel price and
domestic fuel costs.
Procurement Supervision: Identify suitable procurement packages; prepare bid documents, ToRs.
This also includes developing procurement capacity assessments of the implementing agencies; and
recommending policy, investment, regulatory reforms and capacity building and institutional needs
in all aspects of power and energy sector.
