BASIC FUNCTIONS:
1. To source the Parts within the Cost Book.
2. Continuously exploring the cost reduction Opportunities to achieve the Net Material Performance
targets.
3. Negotiating Agreements.
4. Supplier relationship management.
5. Work closely with CFT & ensure timely closure of open issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Procurement of Direct & Indirect Materials & Services.
2. Identify Cost Reduction Opportunities, Negotiations, Raw Material Trend Analysis, Benchmarking, Tear
down and Piece Price Analysis, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain.
3. Responsible for developing and maintaining contact with key suppliers. Develop supplier scorecards and
conduct monthly business reviews. Maintain, evaluate and expand reliable suppliers to effectively
achieve cost, availability and strong supplier management relationship.
4. Interact with and influence various internal groups concerning Technical matters and recommend
possible solutions to problems.
5. Applying Technical Procurement knowledge such as clean sheet costing and RFXs.
Project Work
H-Bridge Buck converter
The project proposes a new buck derived converter topology with improved dynamic response in comparison
to the conventional buck converter. The project, first introduces the HEB converter topology, its operation modes
during steady-state condition, and the flying capacitor charge balance operation. Next, it explains the reason for
the improved dynamic response in the HEB converter and introduces a controller for this converter. Finally, it
provides adequate simulation and experimental results to verify the operation of the converter and its controller
using P-spice and Mat lab software.
