Webelos Resident Camp — a
4-day / 3-night Summer Camp
Experience just for 1st &
2nd year Webelos Scouts —
is not far away!
This summer, Webelos Resident Camp is
again 4 days & 3 nights of nothing but fun in the
outdoors, at the Manatoc Scout Reservation’s
Camp Manatoc, located within the Cuyahoga
Valley National Park.
Resident Camp is a chance
for Webelos Scouts to experi-
ence the adventure waiting for
them in a week of Boy Scout
Summer Camp. It’s days filled
with exciting activities like
swimming, boating, rafting, archery, BB-gun
marksmanship, hiking, fire-building, trying your
hand on a BMX/mountain bike course and
working on at least 4 different Activity Badges.
This year again features two separate “Activity
Badge Tracks” for 1st year and 2nd year Webe-
los Scouts! But Resident Camp is so much more
than just badges...it’s fun your Webelos Scout
can’t get anywhere else this summer!
Where campers sleep
Campers will sleep just like our Boy Scouts
do, in 2-man canvas tents on wooden platforms,
in the same campsites used by our Boy Scout
troops. Webelos Scouts will camp as a unit un-
der their own adult leadership. The required
youth to adult ratio is 3 youth to 1 adult leader
— and the 2-deep leadership policy also applies.
Resident Camp Fees
Youth can attend individually or with their
pack or den — cost is $120 per Webelos Scout
and $70 per adult. Registration forms and fees
are due by July 16, 2010 — fees paid after July
10 are $140 per Scout and $90 per adult. All
fees are non-refundable.
