The existing reinforced concrete beam is Strengthened with the Unidirectional Carbon
Fabric CSS-CUCF44 saturated with Epoxy Resin CSS-ES to produce CFRP composite. Roll
Size used for this job will be 12inX150ft. Field cut 7in wide X 19ft Long piles and apply
to the soffit of the beam using wet layup technique.
CFRP system we are using consists of Dry, unidirectrional sheets that will be installed by
hand with an adhesive resin (Epoxy) using the Wet layup technique.
