Questus Global Capital Limited and London Capital

(NZ): a large stock fraud on GXG markets

Main allegation
Based on a comprehensive survey of the reported stock issuance and pricing in GXG
stock Questus Global Capital Limited, the following companies and individuals
appear to have been victims of a large stock fraud conducted by Questus director
Alain Assemi (a.k.a. Alireza Assemi, Alain A Assemi, Alain Alireza Javadi) and
confederates Brian Staples (also a Questus director), Bryan Cook (director of
Questus issuing GXG broker London Capital (NZ)) and unidentified others.

Qualifying remarks

Stealth Emerging Treasuries & Asset Backed Equities, Ltd. is a related party.
There are signs in the full trade reports (see the related spreadsheet) that a few
deals have been double counted; about $7Mn of consideration may be involved.
No attempt has been made to confirm the trade totals with the purported
counterparties.
There is a possibility that all of the reported trade data are nonsense and
this $700Mn is a fiction. However, accepting that would require one to find
proof that several demonstrably alert international investors have all
completely overlooked the fact that they are mentioned by name in
numerous fake news releases.

In summary, the size of the fraud appears to be ~$640Mn if one assumes there is
some double counting and if one looks aside from the related party Stealth Emerging
Treasuries & Asset Backed Equities, Ltd.

Questus Global Capital Market Ltd

Questus Global Capital Market is a company incorporated in Canada and listed on
GXG Markets. Alain Assemi and Brian Staples are recorded by GXG as the directors
of Questus Global Capital Market Ltd.
Questus Global Capital Market has been the subject of regulatory warnings relating
to boiler room sales in New Brunswick (May 2012 or earlier) and Ontario; the latter
warning is echoed by various other international regulators: NZ, Cyprus and the FCA.

Alain Alireza Assemi past history; aliases

Assemi was a major participant in the Seaforth Meridian investment fraud, which took
$18Million from US investors in the mid-2000s. Via companies controlled by the
Quigg family of Renfrewshire, UK, Assemi is also an associate of Raymond Coia, a
British fraudster whose investors lost 8,000,000. Coia was acquitted of charges
relating to larger sum, 15.9Mn.
Assemi has dual nationality (Iranian and American), and a fondness for aliases, for
instance here, here and here. Via the last of those links, one can tie him to Stealth
Emerging Treasuries & Asset Backed Equities Ltd, the company that appears as a
buyer of $50Mn worth of Questus shares in the main allegation. Via the same link,
the association with Brian Staples is established.

London Capital (NZ)

Questus Global Capital Markets GXG broker is London Capital (NZ), a trading name
of Asia Finance Corporation, which is registered as a Financial Services Provider in
New Zealand. Asia Finance Corporation has as director Bryan Leonard Cook, an
Australian resident of Switzerland.
London Capital (NZ) has listed other stocks on GXG. An unusually large number of
them appear to be frauds.
