Todaythemajorplanetsaretellingonestorytheminorplanetsaretellinganother.Youcouldcall
theplanetsweknowthetoplayertoday,forexample,MercuryandVenusareconjunct,whichis
oneofthosereallyexcellentaspects.
BothareclosetosextileswithJupiter(thisaspectstructureisstilldeveloping,so
wesaytheyareapplyingsextiles),andbothMercuryandVenusareapproaching
aconjunctiontoUranus.Ifyoukeepyourvibepositive,constructiveandcreative,
thereisatminimumamessageofaffirmation.Thebestwaytodothatistostart
withbeinghonestwithyourself.
InMercuryandVenus,thereisareconciliationofoppositesVenusisconnected
toPisces,andMercurytoVirgo(theseareoppositesigns).
Withaprettythoroughlistofminorplanetaspects,welearnthingsyourenotgoingtofindinany
ephemeris.Thereisasubtext.First,MercuryandVenussquaresomethingcalledtheGreat
Attractor.TheGreatAttractorislocatedontheothersideoftheGalacticCore(botharein
Sagittarius),andmanylightyearsbeyond.Itdwarfsanygalaxyitissuckinggalaxiestowardit
likeamagnetpicksuplittlebitsofmetal.
Thisisgoingtomagnifytheeffectoftheconjunction,broadcastingtheeffectofMercuryandVenus
onacosmicscale.ThetwoplanetsalsomakeatrinetoApollo,whichisaremindernottomake
thesamemistakesoverandoveragain.AtrinemakesthingseasyApolloisaboutmistakes.This
mightbeaboutnotmakingthemistakeofsquanderingloveandaffection.Youmightthink,ina
spiritualcontext,isthatreallypossible?Inahumancontext,itsurelyis.
AsmallplanetcalledIxioniscurrentlyworkingovertheGreatAttractor,andonceagainMercury

relationshiptoanotherDword,death.Botharefunctionsofthe8thhouse,andifanychickens
havecomehometoroost,thatiswheretheyaresittingontheireggs.Therelationshipmayseem
abitabstractorsublime,butconsidertherelationshipbetweendebtandonesperceptionofthe
futureandthefutureasitrelatestothatpointwhenthefutureabruptlyends.

quasiparentingsupportashegetshisfeetwetinaworldofreality(outsideofcollege)throughworkinternshipsin
industrialdesign,whichishispassion.
Ifeltuneasyatfirstafterthecall.Imnothismother,nordoIwanttobe,butIamalifelongmentor,andtakefull
responsibilityforinspiringhimtoexcelinart,whichhehas.Ifeelthatresponsibility.
Afterthinkingaboutitabit,Idiscussedmyconcernswithhimabouthelpingbutnotmothering,givinghimsupportashe

Shesaid,Youngmenneedtofeeltheiraccomplishment.Theyneedtofeelthattheyaresolvingtheirproblems.Theyneed
toknowtheyareeffectiveontheirown.
But,howcanIhelphimwhenIamwaitingontheporch?Iasked.
Shesaid,Youngmenneedtoknowyourethereandreadytobestrong.Beingontheporchdoesntmeanyourethe
doormat.Itmeansyouknowhehastheabilitytodothethingsheneedstodo,andfigureoutthethingsheneedstoknow.
