Gazardiel - An angel who holds dominion over the rising sun, we pray to this illuminated one for the
promise of new beginnings, innocence, renewal, awakening and enlightenment
Varcan - An angel with dominion over the sun. He is referred to as the king of the angels of the air, ruling
on the Lord's day.
Vehuiah - One of eight seraphim invoked to fulfill prayers. He governs the first rays of the sun.
Verchiel - He is also the governor of the sun.
Uwula - A ministering angel invoked at an eclipse of the sun or moon.

Tsaphiel - One of the angels governing the moon.
Phul - Lord of the moon, ruler of the seven Olympian Provinces
Hasmodia - A spirit of the moon, invoked in talismanic magic.
Elimiel - In Jewish cabala, the angel (spirit intelligence) of the moon
Aymelek - Turkish: Moon angel.
Yahel - An angel who's name is inscribed on the fourth pentacle of the moon
Uwula - A ministering angel invoked at an eclipse of the sun or moon.

Torquaret - An angel that provides over the season of autumn.
Oriares - The angel governing the season of winter.
Angels Of Winter - Ctarari, Amabael and Certari. The head angel is Altrib or (Attaris)
Attarib - One of the four angels of winter and head of the sign of winter
He'el - Ruler of the seasons of the year
Helemmelek - An angel governing one of the seasons. The name is said to be an inversion of Milkiel.
Gargatel - One of the three angels of summer. He acts in association with Tariel and Gaviel.
Gaviel - With Gargatel and Tariel, Gaviel serves as one of the 3 angels of the summer.

Gidaijal (Gedael--"fortune of God") - A luminary of the seasons, as listed in Enoch I. He is the


leader of the heads of thousands.
Gurid - A summer equinox angel. Effective when invoked as an amulet against the evil eye.
Caracasa - An angel of spring along with Core, Amatiel and Comissoros
Amatiel - Holds dominion over the season of spring
Zalbesael (Heart of God) - An angel who has dominion over the rainy season.

Merkabah
Rikbiel - Chief of the divine chariot; prince of the Merkabah angels.
Sopheriel Mehayye and Sopheriel Memeth - Two of the supreme angels of the Merkabah (of
which there are 8); keepers of the books of life and death.
Galgaliel - Eponymous head of the order of galgalim (chariots of the Merkabah); chief angel of the
wheel of the sun.
Anafiel - Chief of the crown judgment angels of the Merkabah.

Sefiroth
Gulahab - 5th of the 10 unholy Sefiroth, as noted in Moses de Burgos' text
Rigziel - In Isaac Ha-Cohen's text, emanations of the left side. Rigziel is 8th of the ten unholy Sefiroth.
Golab ("incendiaries") - one of the adversaries of the seraphim, one of the 10 unholy sefiroth
"whose cortex is Uriel." Golab has also been denoted a spirit of wrath and sedition, operating under his
chief, Sammael the Black.

Winds
Qamiel - An angelic guard of the South wind.
Qaniel - One of the numerous angelic guards of the South Wind.
Gutrix - In occultism, a Thursday angel of the air, ministering to Suth, chief of these angels, all of whom

Eloa - A female angel said to have been born from a tear that Jesus shed
Gzrel - In Trachtenberg, Jewish Magic Superstition, an angel invoked to countermand evil decrees. The
word Gzriel is part of a 42-letter name of God
Azrael - The Angel of Death who is "forever writing in a large book and forever erasing what he writes:
what he writes is the birth of man, what he erases is the name of the man at death."
Derdekea - A heavenly, powerful female angel who descends to earth for the salvation of man. She is
referred to as the Supreme Mother. (also known as Drop)
Zafrire - Morning spirits.
Chaldkydri - Archangels of the flying elements of the sun. Linked to phoenixes and placed in between
the cherubim and seraphim. They have 12 wings and at the rising of the sun they burst into song!
Black Angels - A name used, especially in Islamic lore, for the fallen angels. Black angels are generally
considered demons. The two most famous fallen angels by this appellation are Nakir and Monker.
Bene Elohim - Also Bene Elim, a group of angels who belong to the order or choir of thrones. Meaning
"sons of God," the bene Elohim are considered a part or division of the thrones, receiving the duty of
forever singing the ineffable praise of God

Iahmel - An angel with dominion over the air
Angel of Fire - Nathaniel (Nathanel), Arel, Atuniel, Jehol, Ardarel, Gabriel, Seraph; also Uriel, "angel of
the fire of the sun." Revelation speaks of the angel of the heavenly alter "who has authority over fire. Cf.
Agni, the Vedic god of fire and mediator (angel) between gods and men. The Zorastrian genius of fire is
Atar. In the Fourth Book of Maccabees there is mention of an angel of fire whom Aaron overcomes; he is to
be compared with destroying spirit in Reider, The Book of Wisdom. When the Baal-worshipping Jair
succeeded Abimelech to the throne in Israel and ordered the 7 men faithful to God to be consigned to the
flames, Nathanael, "lord over fire," extinguished the flames and enabled the 7 to escape. Nathanael then

burnt Jair along with 1,000 of his men. One of Marc Chagall's celebrated oils is his apocalyptic Angel of
Fire or Flaming Angel (the canvas is titled "Decent of the red Angel") that plunges from Heaven on a
peaceful and unsuspecting world, and shatters it.

Arel - An angel of fire
Angel of the Wind - In Revelation, there is a mention of 4 angels of the wind. In occult works, in the Book
of Jubilees, and in 3 Enoch, the following are named as angelic rulers: Moriel, Ruhiel, Rujiel, Ben Nez, and
the celestial Ephemaerae.
Angel of the Earth - Traditionally there are 7 angels of the earth: Azriel, Admael, Arkiel (Archas),
Arciciah, Ariel, Harabael or Aragael, Saragael, Yabbashael, Variants include Haldiel, Tebliel, Phorlakh,
Raquel, and Samuil. The 4 angels of the earth listed in Heywood, The Hierarchy of the Blessed Angels, are
actually angels of the 4 winds: Uriel (south), Michael (east), Raphael (west), and Gabriel (north). In ancient
Persian lore, the spirit of the earth was Isphan Darmaz.
Furlac - An angel of the earth.
Angel of the Waters - In his cabalistic works, Cornelius Agrippa calls Phul (one of the 7 supreme spirits
ruling the 196 provinces of Heaven) "the supreme spirit lord of the waters." In Revelation, he is referred to
but unnamed: "And I heard the angel of the waters say," etc.
Harudha - A female angel who rules the element of water.

Nisroc (Freedom) - Known as "the great eagle." His flight into the Heavens is the symbol of freedom.
On the physical plane, there is freedom to travel where you want & be safe from harm, to be able to say
what you feel and make choices for yourself. As you go deeper into your awareness, freedom becomes the
ability to feel the unconditional love for the Eternal.
