PHYSICAL REFINING OF EDIBLE OILS

The physical refining of edible oils is mainly used for Palm Oil and every time feedstock has high
content of free fatty acids.
Starting from crude palm oil with acidity FFA 5% or higher, with our process we can go down to
0,1% FFA without any difficulty and with important reductions in terms of product losses.
Physitron SM24 is a fully continuous plant; the deodorizer is studied in order to give the same
performances, in terms of product quality, obtained by bigger industrial plants.

WHY A

The main goal of this kind of unit is to give

our Customers the chance of having a
small size and fully continuous (24t/24h)
plant with performances and yields similar
to the ones of much bigger units.
For logistic and space-saving reasons,
and in order to connect the producers of
crude feedstock with the users of refined
oil, GIANAZZA INTERNATIONAL has studied a
tailor-made solution: this means the
supply of a completely finished and
pre-mounted plant, with no idle times
from the delivery to the start-up: with this
solution, you can immediately start the
production and quickly recover your
investment costs.

The schematic 3D view of

different modules that will be
assembled on the plant. Every
module has a 3mx3m size that
does not require any special
transport. The activities on site
will be reduced to erection and
assembling of the modules and
installation of utilities such as
electric energy to the control
board, steam, water and
compressed air. If necessary,
also this unit can be delivered
pre-assembled.

PERFORMANCESAND FEATURES
Physitron SM24 is compact and has been designed to recover most of the thermal energy
needed for the refining process. The plant can be easily controlled by the local control board
but, on request, we can also provide a more updated automation and control system.
