Penapisan (Terengganu) Sdn Bhd as Chemical Engineer. In 1998, he was made a Process
Technologist and in 1999 he started working on APC for the refinery. He was APC Engineer in year
2000 until 2005 before becoming Senior APC engineer. He completed Masters of Science degree with
distinction in Applied Process Control from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK,in 2007. His is
currently looking after APC implementation and technical support for PETRONAS OPUs. He will share
about synchronizing APC project implementation with APC engineers capability development.

subsequent versions of PatrolMate. He is currently working as Product Manager for Mobile Solutions
and is very experienced with Field Inspections & Maintenance Work Flow. In this presentation, he will

Analytical Systems department in 1999. He is now the Deputy Manager of the department. His speech

David Cole is Regional Manager, Asia Pacific, for Process Control, Optimization and Modeling for Shell
Global Solutions. He is based in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Process Control and
Optimization, from Manchester University, England, and also a MBA. David joined Shell in 1988 and
has worked on projects across the world with Shell, from bases in UK, The Netherlands and now
Malaysia.
He manages a team of 14, which delivers services and projects primarily in the Asia Pacific region. His
