Strength: I consider myself a proactive person who always wants to improve and learn new skills. Weakness: the area where I am working is highly technical and the profile of Business Administration studies is not common. My self-assessment match really well with my analysis.

1. Analyze your professional performance in your internship to
identify your strengths and weaknesses in the workplace and write your main reflections. Strengths
I studied a degree in Business Administration at Rovira I Virgili University in
Tarragona and I joined BBVA a month ago in the Corporate & Investment Banking area. After this time in the company and my experience in previous internships I am able to analyze and consider which are my strengths and weaknesses in the workplace. First of all I want to explain which are the strengths that I consider I have, and after that I will comment my weaknesses. In terms of strengths, I consider myself a proactive person who always wants to improve and learn new skills. Specifically, the area where I am doing my internship is very technical and I am doing activities that I never did before, as a consequence I am always trying to learn from the other people of the team as well as asking them any doubt that I have. I consider that doing this I will take more profit of my internship. Another strength is my willingness to work in group. I really get involved very fast in the team because I am always asking if I can provide help to any of the members of the team. This is positive for the department and then my workmates try to interact more with me (both to teach me and to ask for my help). Finally, I consider myself a perseverating person. I always try to finish my tasks putting all my effort. This helps me to keep learning more. Weaknesses However, I also have my weaknesses. Most of them are related with the nature of the area where I am working. As I commented previously, the area where I am working is highly technical and the profile of Business Administration studies is not common. As a consequence I feel that I am sometimes lost and I do not understand properly how the things work there. Nonetheless, this happened above all during the first weeks and now I am more used to all the terminology and the characteristics of the job.

2. Complete the following self - assessment test that we have
attached here. Done!
3. Compare the results of your self-assessment test with
results of your analysis. Is there any connection between your performance analysis and the self-assessment test? Did the results of self-assessment test match your analysis? My self-assessment match really well with the previous analysis. As I said in my analysis I am able to manage my learning due to the fact of technical issues that I have never studied before. Moreover, the results match with the areas of learning through collaboration and working with others and communication. Finally the results in the data handling section are really accurate due to the fact that I am aware of the amounts of the information that we deal with every day.
4. Do you think during your educational career should you have
developed other skills that are required in the labour market? What skills would you have liked to develop in your career? I am sure that during our educational career I should have developed other skills, and do not misunderstand me, I am not referring to the technical issues explained before. What I want to comment is that as far as I know, a vast majority of universities only aim their programs to the educational part of the career, I mean, universities should focus more in the part of employability, professional development and social/networking skills. As a result, you may find yourself quite lost during the last years of your studies and this may be a plummet at the moment of being at your first job or even when you have to find it.

5. Make an action plan based on your weaknesses identify and
devise the actions necessary to improve your performance at the workplace. In order to improve my performance at the workplace and to deal with my weaknesses I will follow the next action plan. Due to the fact that my biggest weakness is related with the difficulties related with the specifically technical issues in my department, I will keep studying and learning all the concepts related with the daily activities. Thus, I will elaborate a kind of a syllabus where I will structure all the concepts and subjects that I still do not know. Moreover, I will be proactive asking to my workmates for further explanations and the most important, ask them to show me all the concepts that I will study on their daily work and activities. I believe that this is the most important issue. With this I want to say that everybody can study a book and learn all the theory at their homes, however, I consider that I have the great possibility of being learning all this theory with teachers such as my workmates who show me how to put in practice all those concepts.
