There are lots of Android users who have internet connection in their
computer, but dont have any WiFi router to access it in Android.
So today I am going to tell a very nice trick to use your PC internet in
your Android. This process is called Reverse Tethering.
Most of us heard about WiFi or USB Tethering, as this is a process to
share your Android Phones internet with other devices.

1. First download Android Reverse Tethering from the XDA

Forum.

3. Now turn on the USB Debugging option in your Android by going

to Settings > Developer Options.

4. Connect your Android Phone with your Computer using USB

5. Now if you have drivers installed for your Android it will popup in
your PC that a New Device has been connected.

6. Now open Android Reverse Tethering in Computer. Now you

will be able to see your Android device name inside the software.

Select the DNS you want to use. Preferable DNS is 8.8.8.8.

7. Now simply tap the Connect button and a software named USB
Tunnel will be installed in your Android Phone. You have nothing to
do here. The software will do his work.

8. After installing the USB Tunnel in your mobile you will be

prompted to grant Root Access. Click on the Grant and you are
done.

Now you will be able to use internet on your mobile using your
computer network over USB Cable.
Heres a sneak peak of working internet in Android without any DATA
Connection

It doesnt work anymore under Android 5.0 as

redsocks included in the tools is not PIE
compatible.

Hey, Halo
Buddy this is a normal problem for USB Tunnel. When
you are facing this problem try to start again. At first
disconnect the cable from the PC, then Kill USB Tunnel
in you Android Phone and also Restart USB tunnel

from your PC then connect again and try. I think it will

solve your problem

I am having this same problem. However my

issue is that it says to check for a superuser
request on my phone and when it receives
permission nothing changes. Yes this would
say to me that my rooting is not done in
correctly however this is not the case as other
apps needing root access work.
Please investigate this as there is not much
info on the net for it.

My handset is SM-G360 (Samsung).

i have same problem on usb tunnel

error say:service is running.
not connected. if the cable was unplugged, plug
it.
if the tool was running and previously connected,
an automatic connection will be done.
Now I am done with the solution you explained
for the same. But still , it is not working for me.
My phone is rooted as well. Please help me out.
