Specialized Carrier:
COSCO owns and operates more than 100 general cargo and specialized carriers
providing the liner and tramp services, including heavylifts, semi-submersibles, ro-ros,
multi-purpose carriers, timbers, asphalts, car carriers with the overall capacity ranking
ahead in the world. The high-tech 20000-dwt semi-submercible ships such as Tai An Kou
and Kang Sheng Kou, 50000-dwt semi-submercible ships such as Xiang Rui Kou are
capable of transporting drilling rigs and other super large engineering machinery. With the
world-class techniques, the precision gap can be minimized to less than 5cm during their
loading and unloading on the sea. Over recent years, COSCO's general cargo and
specialized fleet has beaten its competitors and successfully acquired the transport
contracts in the Qinshan nuclear power project, the Three Gorges hydro-power project,

Bulk Shipping:
The COSCO's dry bulk fleet is the largest and the most capable one in the world and
provides global customers with the shipping services ranging from iron ore, coal, grain,
fertilizer, steel, timber to agricultural products, etc, covering over 1000 ports in over 100
countries and regions. The wide variety of ship types and the excellent business
performance can meet every requirement of different customers.

Container lines:
The container shipping services are provided by COSCO Container Lines which operates
a fleet of over 160 container ships with a total capacity of over 750,000 TEU. Now, the
COSCO Container Lines has operated on more than 38 global shipping services, including
the Transpacific, Far East/Europe, Japan/Australia and China/Australia, etc, covering more
than 100 major ports, running more than 1000 branch agencies, connecting all the
transport hubs and radiating towards every corner across the world. It has over 300
service agencies in China mainland covering the railway, road, air and coastal transport

Tanker shipping:
COSCO's oil transportation business is mainly undertaken by Dalian Ocean Shipping
Company, which provides shipping services of crude oil, product oil, LPG and LNG, etc.
with operating 46 various liquid bulk carriers, with a total capacity of 8 million DWT. The oil
tanker fleet is one of the biggest in China.
Passenger shipping:
COSCO has 4 joint ventures that operate the regular passenger and cargo shipping
services on the short-haul routes of China-Japan and China-Korea. The ships under
