Title Turbine with mixers and ejectors
Abstract A Mixer/Ejector Wind/Water Turbine (x201c;MEWTx201d;) system is disclosed which routinely
exceeds the efficiencies of prior wind/water turbines. Unique ejector concepts are used to
fluid-dynamically improve many operational characteristics of conventional wind/water turbines
for potential power generation improvements of 50% and above. Applicants’ preferred MEWT
embodiment comprises an aerodynamically contoured turbine shroud with an inlet; a ring of stator
vanes; a ring of rotating blades (i.e., an impeller) in line with the stator vanes; and a mixer/ejector
pump to increase the flow volume through the turbine while rapidly mixing the low energy turbine
exit flow with high energy bypass fluid flow. The MEWT can produce three or more time the power
of its un-shrouded counterparts for the same frontal area, and can increase the productivity of
wind farms by a factor of two or more. The same MEWT is safer and quieter providing improved
wind turbine options for populated areas.

Abstract Wind power plant rotor comprising one or more rotor blades and stiffening elements to stiffen the
rotor, where the rotor blades are arranged such that they can turn around their longitudinal axes
relative to corresponding rotor stiffening elements. Each rotor blade may comprise at least two
rotor blade parts where the outer rotor blade part may be turnably arranged relative to the inner

outermost part of at least one blade and the tower by regulating, during operation, the pitch of a
blade about a pitch axis which is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the blade.

Title Stationary wind or fluid scoop which captures and redirects wind or fluid for generating power
Abstract Stationary wind or fluid scoop which captures and redirects wind or fluid and forces the wind or
fluid into a duct or chamber which feeds one or more air or fluid powered generators to convert
wind or fluid energy into electrical or mechanical energy. The wind or fluid scoop can be mounted
at any angle on existing structures or can stand alone. The wind or fluid scoop can have dynamic
louvers which allow wind or fluid to enter the wind or fluid scoop duct or chamber, but can also
prevent wind or fluid from exiting the chamber. If used for wind the scoop can utilize turbulent
wind around buildings by capturing the wind and redirecting it into an air duct which supplies air
to convert wind energy into electrical or mechanical energy. Similar applications for other fluids.

Title Power-augmenting shroud for energy-producing turbines
Abstract A shroud, such as for an airborne wind-turbine for converting wind energy into another form of
energy, such as electrical energy. The shroud has a ring-like shape with an airfoil cross-section
and defines an interior volume for containing a lighter-than-air gas. The shroud includes a central
opening oriented along a longitudinal axis of the shroud. The shroud is configured to produce
an asymmetric moment of left and right lateral sections thereof, which asymmetric moment yields
a restoring moment that automatically orients the longitudinal axis of the shroud substantially
optimally relative to a prevailing wind direction.

Title Using sail and wind power to generate electricity, and as a power source
Abstract Specially designed masts, rectangular sails that slide inside frames and can be folded or wrapped,
and directing the wind around the system by using a wind deflector and a fin, are used to produce
power from the wind, masts will rotate around an oval wall in a circle and drive chains that will
turn wheels that in turn drive generators, fin and wind deflector are used to position the system,
all parts of the system are installed on one rotating platform, the system is mobile, simple design,
made of low cost material, can look like a beautiful sail ship and environmentally friendly, so
less people will object to it, multiple small generators that can go on or off-line automatically, are
preferred over one large generator, to control the production and speed of the system, generators
can physically be added or taken out of the system without halting it.

Title Worldwide wind farm enclosure units and grid worldwide battery-based airflow induced wind farm
enclosure units and grid (webbaidwindfarm)
Abstract A system for producing energy from the flow of air by providing a source of energy which
provides power to operate an airflow generating device directly through mechanical energy, or
by generating electrical current that charges a grid of one or more batteries, backed up by other
sources of energy in the event that the primary source of energy fails to provide sufficient energy
to keep the batteries charged. The batteries provide power to an airflow generating device such as
a wind turbine or fan placed in an enclosure, which produces a flow of air which powers a plurality
of wind energy generators situated in this same enclosure so that these wind generators operate
at maximum airflow speeds specified by the wind/airflow energy generators for optimal production
of energy without damage to the generator units, thus producing power for numerous purposes
including power for homes, commercial and other uses, to supply net excess power generated to
worldwide power grids, and to provide energy for the operation of all types of vehicles.
