Course Description
This course provide basic mathematics competence in topics related to economics and finance such as real number
system, sets, relation and functions, linear models and matrix algebra, derivatives, and its application.
Instructional Objectives
In general, after attending this course, students will be able to understand and use basic mathematics tools taught
and relates them to the appication in economic and finance.
Students particularly will have the ability in terms of understanding the subject as follows:

1. Student must have Text Book (suggested books)
2. Class begins on time, within 10 minutes
3. Students must dress neatly and decently in accordance with the Shari'a.
4. Assignments, homework is collected before the lecture or as required by the lecturer.
5. Students must attend the lecture at least 75% of total attendance..
6. Lecturer provides discussion outside class hours with the availability of lecturers time
