Who we are…
We are architects and designers, analytical
thinkers, planners, interior designers, code
checkers, service providers, business admin-
istrators, dreamers, innovators, musicians,
painters, photographers, and sculptors. We
are the manifestation of creativity and
beauty in every form. Architecture is only a
means to the expression of the humanity
within all of us.

What we do …
We pursue our dreams and goals through commitment to our clients
AND to the values that we hold most dear. We inspire confidence in
the hearts and minds of the community within which we practice. VMI
is a place where we practice integrity, excellence, accountability, reli-
ability and trustworthiness every day, at all levels of our interactions
within and outside the company. We are very much in touch with the
needs of the people we deal with and are quick to respond to find an
amicable win-win solution to accommodate those needs. We do busi-
ness with the highest sense of honesty, trust, fairness and humility.
Our legacy is the positive impact we make on the people around us.

Where we are going…

The family atmosphere we have created here is aimed to celebrate the
best in everyone who is involved in the day to day operation of VMI.
This atmosphere has extended to the community of consultants, ven-
dors and clients who have a long standing working relationship with
us. It is our aim as an Architectural firm to be the conduit in the daily
transformation of ourselves and others by creating spatial interactions
and proportional relationships that serve their development.

Morris Residence
Marin, CA
Vincent + Murphy designed this new home with exterior materials which include metal
roofing, corrugated metal columns and integral colored plaster in a linear “stepped”
design, to maintain a human scale while still providing the Client with the desired floor
area. This kitchen is consistent with the overall design theme of the home, using natu-
ral woods combined with metals and clean lines to create a warm but modern space.

professionalism. They are user friendly and creative. They listen carefully to
their client’s needs and yet resolve the problems quickly, bringing new solu-
tions to the table.”
Dr. Dean Edell, KGO, San Francisco

Vincent + Murphy Architecture’s combined talent and experience transformed

our 1906 house into a state of the art home without compromising the integrity
and charm of the original design. They listened to our needs and wishes and
offered creative solutions to design challenges in a timely and efficient manner.

This is the second remodel/addition they have completed for us and we were
extremely pleased with the results of both projects.”
Joel and Polly Lewitz, Kentfield, CA

The highest compliment to you and your Architectural Services is by neighbors

and friends who say it does not look like an addition. It looks like it was all built
at the same time. Your response time was good when it came to adjustments
required by the City of Novato. You were patient and understanding with us as
we went through the remodeling process for the first time.
George Sanders, Novato
