WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
Over the past few years there has been a growing realization that HR management in Pakistan is showing a change in
its trend by leaning more towards Labor laws practices which, of course, is the result of the changed socio-political
climate in the country. This has made essentials for the H.R and IR professionals to have a better understanding of the
labor laws which alone can help in creating employer employee friendly atmosphere. The Workshop on Labor Laws
in Pakistan focuses on the people (labor) aspect of business and explores how the relationship between employers
and employees can be managed to the best interests of both parties. This workshop provides comprehensive

CH. ABDUL REHMAN
Mr. Abdul Rehman is currently serving as General Manager Human Resources at US Denim Mills where other than
all strategic level activities of HR, he has successfully created an enabling environment where local labor laws
regulations, code of conduct of various customers are complied and very cordial Labor Management relationship has
been prevailing.
He is a seasoned HR Professional having his HR career spanning over 22 years. He started his career in HR at Nishat
Mills Ltd. from where he resigned as Manager HR & Admin after serving there for 14 years. His later assignments
included working for Tariq Glass Industries and later on US Denim Mills.
Mr. Abdul Rehman is well trained and experienced in Labor Laws of Pakistan as well as he is a Lead Auditor of
SA8000 Standard. He holds an MBA and PGD in Human Resource Management from the University of The Punjab.
As his additional activities he serves as a;
