Serve the Lord with Gladness

A Shepherds View
A joyous Easter welcome to our beloved American National
Catholic Church Bishop George Lucey, FCM!!! The Bishop is here
today to make our Church holy and consecrated. He will use the
Sacred Chrism Oil and anoint various parts of our worship place.
This beautiful ceremony consecrates our building into a sacred
Church. What a pleasure it is to have Bishop George visit us again,
especially on our Patronal Feast Day-Good Shepherd Sunday!!
Hearing the Shepherds voice, followers recognize and know it
is their God. Safe in the knowledge that they cannot be taken from
the hand of the Shepherd, those who hear His Voice follow as
faithful believers willing to go where God calls and sends them.
When all the clamor of many false voices or distractions that
threatens to overwhelm, we have only to listen carefully to be led
to do the work of the Father.
Please pray for Vocations within the ANCC. We ask Jesus to
give inspiration to more women and men to serve as Deacons,
Priests or Religious Sisters & Brothers. The ANCC will shepherd
you through Formation so that you can be the future shepherds of
our church! Please also pray for the many that serve us now,
especially for Bishop George!
