Questions Of Reality
I understand each of us have our own quest for truth and opinions on reality, li
fe and existence. My quest for truth has led me to an endless line of scientific
and philosophical questions. Since we all live here as part of this reality exp
eriencing the limited time we have, I believe it s essential for everyone to quest
ion the existence of your 'self'.
There are countless unanswered questions out there, but we aren t endowed with per
fect minds. As freethinkers, we can merely make pragmatic speculations to make t
he answer more self-evident, to journey from reasoning to conclusion into more m
anageable, understandable chunks as words too, have limitations.
So here are a few questions that my self-learning and times of critical freethin
king has led me to: few why, how and what questions you might have few opinions
to contribute on. I understand these are also some of the greatest unsolved phil
osophical mysteries of all time. If you have few minutes to kill, please contrib
ute :)
1. There exist visible 118(+) floating elements in the entire universe gaming th
e system in equations and numbers, building the interactive reality in our unive
rse as opposed to the existence of NOTHING or merely floating invisible matter.
The point: WHY DOES SOMETHING EXIST RATHER THAN NOTHING?
2. Everything in the universe co-exists in duality. This question might be limit
ed by our understanding of duality where 'something' would exist only as the pol
ar opposite of 'nothing'. The point: COULD SOMETHING 'ENTIRELY ABSOLUTE' ACTUALL
Y EXIST?
3. Matter is undoubtedly, reassuringly solid
and can be seen, touched, felt, sat
on or eaten But it seems to be almost totally empty in between the sub-atomic pa
rticles; and further below, it seems nonexistent
it loses its very definition of
solid . The point: WHY DOES MATTER SEEM NON-EXISTENT IN THE QUANTUM LEVEL?
4. What fuels the personal experience of continuity? Why do we have the sensatio
n of alive every moment? IS TIME A UNIVERSAL FACTOR, OR THE ILLUSION OF OUR BRAIN?
5. We all thought the universe was what it was, until science gave us an idea th
at the world is built in rules and numbers and it s actually possible for us to fi
gure them out. And we did uncover one by one most of the important equations wit
h which the universe functions the way it does. Why does the universe have these
rules and equations (eg. F=ma, P = F/A or Sin30 = 1/2) that MUST BE FOLLOWED BY
EVERY PARTICLE (from massive super-giant stars to something as minute as an ele
ctron) IN EVERY CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE?
6. In process of billion years of evolution, the species have been directed from
less conscious to states of higher sentience
with better cognition, higher freq
uency ranges of colors, sounds, taste, understanding of language and the most im
portant of all - feelings? So, WHY?
7. Our body functions like a biological machine a very, very highly advanced com
puter. What believe is real is based on the supply of the continuous electrical
signals from the 5 senses and the process of thought. All the senses convert the
incoming light, sound, etc signals into electric signals and send it to the bra
in. The acts of sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing are our basis of reality
per se, but if you disconnect the neurons through which they travel to the brain
, these processes don t happen. I think these are doubtful, questionable acts. Our

everyday life and activities seem to be the digital acts of various senses on o
ur body: we re like a biological computer experiencing a virtual reality that exis
ts only in electric signals in our neurons and the brain, so IS REALITY ACTUALLY
REAL?
