Essence: The Familys share on Christs Passion Death and Resurrection

Holy week is a celebration of remembering the Pascal ministry of how the son of GOD
sacrificed himself for all of us, the sinners. Flashbacking the scene that weve done
conscious and unconsciousness, the egg shows ascending illustrations on the story of
courage and sacrifice portraying the final twelve hours in the life of JESUS CHRIST.
This is related to the theme the familys share on Christ passion death and resurrection.
First, on the lower part of the Manila paper the illustration shows the togetherness of the
family in celebrating the holy week. The familys share on Christ, SOS mother taught the
children on how to pray and recognizing GOD, retelling the story what was happened to
our JESUS CHRIST sharing all her knowledge about on how Christ suffered, to save us
from all our sin. Awaken the thoughts of the children to ask for forgiveness and give
thanks to his glory.
Second, the passion of Christ this time JESUS CHRIST received 40 whacks from the
soldier he bear all the pinch and pain never think to fight back, letting the soldiers to hurt
him though his blood drench from his bare flesh into the cement floor. In reality, we also
feel pinch and pain every time we encounter disaster to our life still we fight yet in good
manner. Just like JESUS he never spoken foul words to those people who accused him a
blasphemer, dragging him down and abused him. We people always failed in times of
trusting someone, someone that will never betray us but at the end they are the person
who dumps us.
Third, his death after suffering all the pain from night to day he never asked them to stop
willingly followed their command up to his last breath. His still talked to GOD saying,
Father forgives them for they dont know what they are doing. How glorious and merciful
he is he saved us from death, pain and sorrow. Like Lolo Herman Gmiener he sees how
children suffered from the war losing their both parents and siblings, he cannot bear the
moans of the children that is why he built this institution, the SOS. He wanted to help and
reached out to others not letting the children to be in pain. He died in peace because he
knows that his mission was flourishing around the world answering to his call to save the
children.
And lastly, the resurrection after his death he was raised again. Before the passion death
and his resurrect he already told his twelve disciples on the last supper that one of them
will betray him, JESUS CHRIST will be punished and die but he will come back on the
third day, seated on the right hand of the father. JESUS CHRIST continue his mission in

spreading the good news by the words of his father, through his disciples they continued
to share gospel and also SOS continue in spreading the mission of Lolo Hermann
searching those children who needs the love of a family.
