open spaces in kala Kendra.
Grass in the gapping between the red
sandstone tiles gives a perfect outdoor

Exterior walls have 2.5 thick unfinished
stone cladding that Natural look to the
structure.
Red lime wash is applied on skirting
around the building walls and staircase,
which can be painted over and over
again

Interior of the kala Kendra has polished

Walls and columns and ceilings have
white lime wash.

Auditorium has finished red sandstone


steps and wooden plank flooring for
performance space.
Walls of the auditorium have polished
vertical wooden strips for acoustical
treatment of the auditorium.

Walls of the kala Kendra have red


sandstone cladding.
Top portion of the parapet is having buff
stone cladding providing contrast
between red sandstone and buff stone.

Interior walls are finished with lime wash


or brick red color and corners are painted
white to show contrast.
Flooring of the interior open spaces had
pathways with paving & mud is covered
with pebbles.
Marble is extensively used after the
reception and baggage counter.

Open to sky spaces which have entrances


to the galleries have finished red
sandstone flooring and walls are finished
with brick red color lime wash.

Doors and windows are plastic paint and


are exposed to the direct sunlight and
rain.
Interiors of the galleries have polished
kota stone flooring and walls are finished
with white wash.

Ground level walls are stone masonry


with chiseled faces of the stone.
Exterior walls above the ground floor
walls are finished with buff color lime
wash.
Supports for balcony chajjas is red
sand stone and is painted black.
Pathways & roads have unfinished
stone block paving.
Paving have unfinished block of
granite, marble and kota stone and all
are locally available marble

Interior flooring is having polished marble


flooring white granite highlighters and floral
inlayed works.
Columns in the courtyard are painted with
marble powder and walls have putty only.

Railings around staircases and roof is made of


carved marble without any further co ceiling
finish.
Doors and windows have rustic plastic paint
finish.
