Profits affect the policies:

Right wing political parties always make sure that the
policies they draft ensure good amount of profit to the
nation even if some of the parameters of social justice
are compromised on the way. On the other hand, the
left wing politics doesnt values profits if they come at
the cost of violating laws of social equality and
levelness.

9. Conservative approach:
The approach under left wing politics is considerably
conservative and dates back to the times of Karl Marx
and Lenin. Their conservative attitude is apparent in
their ideologies. According to them, lesser is the
exposure to systemic risks, more is the chance of equal
growth. Right wing politicians, on the other hand, value

intermixing of cultures and development of aggressive

policies for states growth.

8. Welfare state:
A Left government works on the main goal of creating a
welfare state where subsidies rule the roost. They
believe in reaching out to the people with welfare funds
and assistances. However, Right wing governments
believe in creating a state that is less dependent on
subsidies and welfare assistances, and more on organic
growth of per capita income level.

7. View point towards capitalism:

Economic freedom is finding its place through the entire
world even in the well established socialist economies.
However, Leftists are and always have been fairly
apprehensive towards the idea of capitalism, not
because of the greater amount of economic freedom
associated with it, but social inequality that breeds
from it in the longer run.

6. Hierarchial order of governance:

It is a well established fact that the administrative set
up in the political party based on socialistic values is
more hierarchical as against what is observed in the
Leftist set up. They believe in equal social order and
radically equal society. More weightage is given to equal
representation of society in the cadre ranks.

5. Pro-poor:
It is not uncommon to see Left parties to back the
rights of poor people. They often present their point of
views to the general public by taking to the roads and
openly organizing protests. Therefore, socialists are
always pro-poor and work constantly for their rights
and benefits. Although, Rightists cannot be painted as
anti-poor, they will not upset elites at the cost of poor
people.

4. No free economy:
Countries ruled by political parties with leftist ideology
rarely lay down the red carpet for multinationals and
private players, although China is one such exception.
Their rationale is that free economy could breed
discomfort for the local state backed players and lead to
exploitation of the people in the country because of the
money power they possess.

3. Civil liberties:
It would be wrong to opine that Right wing politics is all
against civil liberties and creation of social order that is
based on equality of order. Right wing policies are also
pro-people, but the people who fund such parties are
industrialists and therefore, cant afford to distance
themselves from funding elite as against
what Leftists believe. Therefore, civil liberties take a
back seat in most of the discussions in the
parliamentary bench of Right wing parties.

2. Government control:
Under Left wing politics the desire is to create a
system that revolves around government (though it is
society centric) for the betterment of the common
masses. All their efforts are directed in bring about
equality in the society. Rightists are supporters of
liberal order where market forces play major role in
ensuring improvement in the living order of the people
in the state.

1. Central theme:
The major difference is in the practiced ideology where
Leftists are more inclined towards creating a
dependency culture that relies on state support to
ensure equality in masses, while Rightists are more
than happy to let the capitalist or market order to
share a centre stage and guide the economy on the
path of development.
