PRE-INSTALLATION
QUESTIONNAIRE

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this pre-installation questionnaire is to help the user to prepare the installation of his ARL
spectrometer. Please provide precise answers to the following questions and return the questionnaire as soon
as possible, but by no means before your laboratory is completely prepared. By doing so, you will ensure that
our engineer arrives on the expected date and that the installation is completed in the best possible conditions
and without loss of time.
Any loss of time due to wrong information or bad preparation of the laboratory will be charged according to
our tariff.
The Pre-Installation Manual indicates all necessary information for the preparation of the laboratory in order
to ensure an installation without delays and the proper functioning of your instrument.
Once this form completed, please sign and send it back to your local Thermo Fisher representative.

12 INSTALLATION
The installation of the instrument consists of four important parts:

Unloading and checking of the equipment

Connecting the instrument to all supplies and switching it on
Performing the basic tests and the acceptance test
Instructing the laboratory personnel in use and operation of the instrument and its software.

The complete installation should not exceed 4 days.
