Jupiter when placed in strength in 9th house confers very limited auspiciousness(IF Without
any aspect or conjuction)
Jupiter needs the support of some other planet to give its full effect in 9th house..

Placement of exalted jupiter in 6th house in navamsa will not cancel the neech affect of neech
jupiter in lagan chart, In fact it will aggravate the troubles...

Here jupiter will behave like venus not only because (venus becomes the temperory vedhak of
jupiter) but also beacause its being aspected by venus...
if no planet aspect or conjuct this jupiter it would be inclined to behave like venus..
But if suppose this jupiter is also aspected by saturn ,mercury...apart from venus...
Then it would have behaved like all 3 of them in equal proportions..

Nikhil about your vedhka concept.
can you give one praactical example of that so that we people may understand easily.
please come up with a chart in which jupiter is neecha and it has given effects of venus.
I have also one chart in which mars is neecha. but I didnt feel that it si giving effects of
mercury.
And one more thing.
jupiter neecha in rashi and uccha in navmasha should be neech bhang yoga. Isn't it. it is not
dependent in which house jupiter is in navmansha.

this jupiter acts wierd.. hehe..
i always thot that it will give good results to wherever it sits especially in its own house. but
recently i learnt that if jupiter is not all that good for 7th house!!
will it still be not good or lets say bad if its in own sign (pisces) in 7th house... jus wanna know
the behaviour of jupiter in such a situation. (like in lagna it can give fat to the body but saves
the chart of many doshas)

also remember that...the power which retro or neech planet aquires from the conjunction or
aspect of any other planet gives an equal "bal" to the bhavas lorded by the retro or neech
planet...
Also remember that if if retro planet is lording over (6th/8th/12th ) bhava...the power aquired
by this retro or neech planet through conjuction or aspect of some other strong planet..would
PROVE HARMFUL FOR THE NATIVE...
But if this retro or neech planet is placed in 6th/12th/8th house itself..then it will prove
beneficial for the native...
This Vedhak concept is not so simple..as it seems...

A PLANET WILL PURELY BEHAVE AS ITS VEDHAK ONLY WHEN IT IS NOT ASPECTED OR
CONJUCTED BY ANY OTHER PLANET...(or when it is alone)...
therefore if the concerned planet is aspected or conjucted by any other planet
It will exhibit mixed results...

menaing if the planet in conjunction/aspecting is itself weak, then will it give any strength to
the neecha/retro planet

see nothing can be generalized in jyotish...
as you rightly said ..if this jupiter is swarashi in 7th house..with no malefic influence
..it will surely be a boom for the 7th house...

thanks for ur support nikhil. and correct me if I am wrong.
jupiter and venus are arch rivals. Hence, even if jupiter is in pisces in 7th with venus, there
will be conflict between the planets and prolly none will be able to express themselves or give
good results. besides if accompained with rahu, there can be even more trouble. but again
who becomes more powerful exalted venus or swagrahi jupiter whcih is also the karaka of
marriage house.

nikhil i have gone through that link.

but it is still a confusing thing and we can not apply this logic in chart interpretation.
So if you can give an example by taking one chart in which it is very visible that
a debiliated planet or retro planet will act as its vedhak then it will be great
