Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST), Kohat invites applications from suitable candidates for the
following posts on regular(BPS)/TTS basis.

Professor (Pharmacy)
(TTS)/(BPS-21)

For BPS:

Qualification: PhD from an HEC recognized Institution in the

relevant field.

Experience: 15-years teaching/research experience in an HEC

recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization. OR 10-years post PhD teaching/research experience in
a recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization.

Publication: 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in

the last 5 years in the HEC recognized Journals.
2.

For TTS: As per Eligibility Criteria of HEC, Pakistan.

Associate Professor
(TTS)/(BPS-20)

For BPS:

Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized

Chemistry (Organic)
University/Institution.
Pharmacy

Experience: 10 years teaching/research experience in an HEC

Education
recognized
University or a postgraduate Institution or professional
Social Work/Sociology
experience
in the relevant field in a National or International
Economics
organization. OR 5-years post PhD teaching/research experience in
an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or

The above condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable to those
who hold a higher degree of M.Phil/PhD or equivalent with not more
than one 3rd division in the entire academic career.

The candidates with 2nd division in the Masters Degree but holding a
higher degree of M.Phil/PhD or equivalent are eligible to apply provided
there is no 3rd division in the entire academic career.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

The application forms & TTS proforma (For TTS only) available at KUST Website www.kust.edu.pk and can be obtained
from the Establishment Section, KUST.

Candidates applying for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor should submit separate
application forms for BPS & TTS with application processing fee.

Candidates for the post of Professor/Associate Professor shall submit 04 sets of publications.

Application on prescribed form complete in all respect, along with attested photocopies of all testimonials and two
recent passport size photographs, must reach the office of the undersigned by October 28 ,2015 along with a bank draft
(non-refundable) of Rs. 4000/- for Professor , Rs.3500/- for Associate Professor, Rs.3000/- for Assistant Professor &
Rs.2000/- for Lecturer in favour of Director Finance KUST. Incomplete application forms, or applications forms not
supported by required documents and bank draft or those received after the closing date shall not be entertained.

Candidates applying for the post of Lecturer must attach attested photocopy of the valid result card of GAT
(General). The minimum passing score is 50% and candidates who have not yet passed GAT (General) with the
required score, may register with NTS, Islamabad for GAT (General) scheduled on 18th October, 2015. The last
date for registration is 03rd October, 2015.

Original documents shall have to be produced at the time of interview. Employees of Govt/Semi Govt/Autonomous/Semi
Autonomous Organizations must apply through proper channel. Advance copy of application shall not be entertained.

No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates called for test/interview.

Eligibility in all respect shall be reckoned upto the closing date.

Only short listed candidates will be called for the interview.

The University reserves the right, not to fill the post (s), withhold the appointment against the post(s) without assigning any

reason.
