Installing JBoss developer for Development

Installation Prerequisites:
Hardware:
4 GB Ram
30 GB HDD
1. Install Jdk 1.8 (Normal Install)
2. Install

MySql 5 Normal Install.

Create a Account in Jboss login and download the required softwares as specified
below.
Download Location: http://www.jboss.org/products/fuse/get-started/

Click on the jar downloaded to install JBoss developer and extract Fuse zip to a
directory where you have permissions.

Select the directory you want to keep the installation:

Select the JVM you want JBoss Developer to use (jdk1.7+)

Select the Server that you want to configure for deployment of integration logic.

Click on next to start the Installation.

Click Next after you get the summary.

Wait till all components are not installed.

Its get added to startup menu

Launch the workspace.

Select No and close the welcome page to se the workbench as shown below.

Installation is successfully.

Click on fuse integration project to install Integration connector.

Click yes
Select window->preferences as shown below

Expand Jboss tools and select JBoss Maven Integration .

Click configure Maven Repository and click Add Repository as shown below.

Select the below shown repository .

You get all prefilled as shown below.

Answer Yes to update setting.xml.

Install Integration stack plugins

Select software/update tab in jboss central view .

Select the following options

1.JBoss Fuse Development.
2.Business Process and Rules Development.
3.Jboss Data Virtualization Development.
4.JBoss SOA 5.X Development.

Click yes for the below

Finish the step and restart the studio.

Click on Fuse Integration project

Let the loading happen till you get below window

Select all and click Next.

Click Next.
Accept the licence and click next.

Click next.

Let the Installation get over you can click ok for warnings as shown below.

Once you get below message you can finish and restart as shown below.

Once you restart add the Fuse Server to it. go to server tab and click on the
define a new server .Go to Fuse server as shown below and select JBoss Fuse
server 6.2

Click on Next and specify the Path.

Select on Next and verify the ports as shown below

Click Next .And Finish as shown below.

Click Finish to get below screen.

Click yes.

Specify below questions for recovery.

Click ok.
Select the server right click and start as shown below.

Wait for the server to start if you get any error consult Mentor.
