I INTRODUCTION
According to Stephanie Mott a transsexual woman from Topeka, Kan The
LGBT stands for lesbian ,gay ,bisexual and transgender. They also stand for
love,grace,beauty, and truth . For us, LGBT is an honorable people until they
developed or do something wrong. Most of people they identify LGBT as a plague of
society because they want to live with their same sex partner, or they want to change
their gender. But this is not sufficient reason for us to judge people in LGBT .
We all know that being a gay or lesbian should not condemned as it is. We, as
a human being have the options of what we want and what we want to be. To be a
gay or lesbian either, was a choice. We have the thoughts or idea which is said as
"EQUALITY". We must show respect to them as long as they didn't do immorality.
We should accept who they are. We shouldn't throw up criticism seems they are not
belong to the society just because of their kind of situation. But, as a Christian, we
are the first one whose against to those people who are wanting or even trying to
forced the legalization of same-sex marriage because it is said and always been said
that marriage is sacred, it is for the two people who will keep their promise in front
their witnesses and God to stay with each other for better or for worse, or however
the world turns out to be. Two people that takes neither a "man" and a "man", nor a
"woman" and a "woman", but only a "MAN" and a "WOMAN".
We all know that gay and lesbian are attracted with same sex. It is because
people nowadays they dont care for age, weight, gender and for the insecurity of
people. In addition of that if you love that person you need to fight for her/him.

Sometimes the lesbian and gay might marry the same sex and it is called Same Sex
Marriage. Same Sex Marriage is the two individuals of the same sex in a marital
relationship, with the full legal rights and responsibilities. According to Oscar V. Cruz
Same sex marriages are a violation to religious beliefs and old traditional values
that support procreation. Religions like Catholicism promote the creation of offspring
freely, but same sex marriages cannot do that.
Bisexual is sexual attraction, toward both males and females. Transgender is
trans men and trans women whose binary gender identity is the opposite of their
assigned sex according to Caitlyn Jenner Gender identity is a person's internal,
personal sense of being a man or a woman (or someone outside of that gender
binary). For transgender people, the sex they were assigned at birth and their own
internal gender identity do not match. Transgender people can be heterosexual,
homosexual, or bisexual in their sexual orientation and it has a

higher risk of

contracting HIV infection, said a UN report on AIDS epidemic.

LGBT Human Rights a sexual orientation and a gender identity, and this
shared fact means that discrimination against members of the Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual and Transgender community, based on sexual orientation and gender
identity, is an issue that transcends that community and affects all of us.
According to Huffington LGBT issues nowadays is a Discrimination the
people detained solely because of their homosexuality including those individuals
prosecuted for having sex in circumstances which would not be criminal for
heterosexuals, or for their gender identity. Also the Marriage Equality it is the right
of adults to enter into consensual marriage is enshrined in international human rights

standards. Ensure adequate protection of human rights defenders at risk because of

their work on human rights and sexual orientation and gender identity.
II Rationale
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender or as known as the LGBT
community was one of the insights of the media especially on the news that trends,
plus the real conversation of the social web.
We have chosen to search about the LGBT for us to know what is being
viral to its issue, not to judge nor criticize those who are in LGBT community but I
want to widen my knowledge of what are those case and issues concerning by every
right of law, human and divine. As we all know that being acceptable to fellow is the
most thing we need to live our life with freedom and happiness. We always put and
keep into our mind that "we are just nothing but a human, human who doesn't have
the right to discriminate other people, only God.

In the America LGBT has been approved but we all know that still many
people in our world still don't support LGBT community because they say that it is a
sin and it was written in the Book of God or in The Bible that a woman is only for a
man and a man is only for a woman. Most of the people who do not support LGBT
community are the Catholics. That's why we choose LGBT as our topic in our
research paper to know them better, to understand them and to know that they have
a right not to be disowned, not to get bullied and also to be respected.
In addition of that and to know about equality, human rights and
empowerment. LGBTs' are just human too, and means they have the human rights
and their own empowerment. We don't have the right to judge them on what they are

feel, because even God see us equally. As pope says If a person is gay and seeks
out the Lord and is willing, who am I to judge that person? I was paraphrasing by
heart the Catechism of the Catholic Church where it says that these people should
be treated with delicacy and not be marginalized.I am glad that we are talking about
homosexual people because before all else comes the individual person, in his
wholeness and dignity, he continued. And people should not be defined only by
their sexual tendencies: let us not forget that God loves all his creatures and we are
destined to receive his infinite love.
We choose this topic because to gain more knowledge about LGBT . And to
learn more why LGBT fight their right to oppose their marriage even if they are the
same sex or they are a transgender . And how do they resolve their issues ,
especially those who are affected on LGBT. How do they do for the demand of
LGBT. Especially now about the issue of Congressman Manny Pacquiao and for
those who are affected on LGBT. They fight for their rights many people reacts
through for posting their videos on their accounts and the artists used their programs
to tell how they feel about the harsh words spoken by congressman against LGBT.
We picked this topic because it gives us more knowledge on LGBT
community and to know their human rights. Not only that, It is very important to
respect peoples desired self-identifications. One should never assume another
persons identity based on that persons appearance. It is always best to ask people
how they identify, including what pronouns they prefer, and to respect their wishes.
