Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspection and testing of Lightning Protection, Plant Earthing
System and its respective electrodes. Using Advanced Earth/Ground Tester and
Earth/Ground Clamp.

Make detailed reports and submit directly to Commissioning
Lead.

Conduct verification regarding the voltage drop for 24VDC
supply of transmitters.

Loop verification of all instrumentation, incorporating
sequence checks of motors and pumps with Electrical Department Commissioning
and other associated control instrumentation.

Conduct point-to-point wire checking between field control
instrument and field junction boxes and between field junction boxes and
marshalling cabinets prior to loop energization.

Perform loop checking and loop simulation on various process
control instrument to ensure the correct tagging, ranges, and alarm trip
setting.

Prepared list of instrument and points to be Loop Check and
confirm all instrument check sheets are completed with no outstanding punch
list items.

Diagnose malfunctioning system, equipments and components
using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and
suggest the necessary corrective action.

Simulation of motor control panels and ensure that the control
circuit is properly working as per client requirement.

Conduct no-load and load run test of HV and LV motors and
monitor motor integrity.


Responsible for the testing and commissioning of all the
motors in the rig. Making sure that the control circuit is properly working as
per the client requirement.

Conduct no-load and load run test of HV and LV motors and
monitor motor integrity.

Oversee and coordinate with vendor representative for the
testing and commissioning of major electrical equipment

Responsible for MCC modification such as changing and swapping
of MCC buckets and internal wiring modification.

Ensure that the commissioning ITRs was properly filled-in and
signed.

Ensure timely completion of job activities whenever there is
scheduled shutdown

Isolate, De-isolate and energize LV and HV motors.

Conduct visual inspection, gather technical data and identify
any developing problem in the assigned area and report immediately to area
engineer.

Verify/Double check completed activities and ensure that the
job is performed as per requirement.

