
Inspection and testing of Lightning Protection, Plant Earthing
System and its respective electrodes. Using Advanced Earth/Ground Tester and
Earth/Ground Clamp.

Make detailed reports and submit directly to Commissioning
Lead.

Conduct verification regarding the voltage drop for 24VDC
supply of transmitters.

Loop verification of all instrumentation, incorporating
sequence checks of motors and pumps with Electrical Department Commissioning
and other associated control instrumentation.

Conduct point-to-point wire checking between field control
instrument and field junction boxes and between field junction boxes and
marshalling cabinets prior to loop energization.

Perform loop checking and loop simulation on various process
control instrument to ensure the correct tagging, ranges, and alarm trip
setting.

Prepared list of instrument and points to be Loop Check and
confirm all instrument check sheets are completed with no outstanding punch
list items.

Diagnose malfunctioning system, equipments and components
using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and
suggest the necessary corrective action.


circuit is properly working as per client requirement.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Assigned in the vessel for the pre-commissioning,
commissioning and load bank testing of Essential Generator, Emergency
Generator and Steam Turbine Generator with vendors assistance.

Conduct point to point internal wiring check on LV Switchboard
Normal and Emergency.

Simulation of motor starters and ensure that the control
circuit is properly working as per client requirement.

Conduct no-load and load run test of HV and LV motors and

Conduct visual inspection on all major electrical equipment in

Oil filled type power transformer testing. This includes oil
filtering and conditioning to meet dielectric breakdown requirement.

Motor uncoupled/coupled run test (take reading on motor
starting current, motor vibration (vertical & horizontal), bearing temperature
of 415V, 6.6kV motors. That includes operational and functional test on the
motor control.

Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning procedure on
medium voltage MCC switchboard and auxiliary control circuit.

Knowledgeable in the cable fault troubleshooting using TDR and
cable locator.

Responsible for daily report, preparation and accomplishment
of required documents such as check and test sheet records and punchlist items
and coordinate with client to witness the inspection/testing activities and
obtain approval /signature.

Operation of equipments such as; Programma primary/secondary
current injection set, sverker 760, CSU 600AT, Hipotronics, VLF, and Biddle
AC/DC Hipot test, Megger( CTER, MPRT, OTS 100A/F),DLRO micro-ohmmeter,
