Controller
2006-2012
Joined Dichtomatik to stabilize financial statement reporting to the regional management teams and
management organizations in the United States and Germany.
The controller had quit the company with no notice and I was hired to reconcile balance sheet accounts and
close the month end books on a very short time frame. Balance sheet accounts had not been kept in
accordance with international accounting standards and assets had been improperly overstated.
Organized monthly reporting for regional companies on three different ERP systems into one reporting
format leading to accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Integrated three ERP systems into one financial and operational ERP system in the United States and
Canada creating an efficient inventory planning and robust financial reporting system.
Developed a departmental cooperative financial collection system which improved accounts receivable
from 72 days to 43 days outstanding, improving cash flow on an annual basis by $1.5M.
Reconciled balance sheet accounts to subsidiary ledgers, upgraded all accounts and processes to
comply with appropriate accounting standards; recording proper reserves in inventory, accounts
receivable, and fixed asset depreciation, resulting in $5M asset write off on a $29M in total assets.
Led annual audits with outside audit firms leading to no management letter comments the last three
years as controller.
