Week 3 Voelen
2e opdracht vormtaal 4e blok:

Zoek vijf voorwerpen waarbij het belangrijk is om de objecten te voelen. Hierbij kan gebruik
gemaakt worden van de voorwerpen die je aantreft op de expositie Een Mooi Ding of van
voorwerpen die je zelf in bezit hebt. Beschrijf waarom het belangrijk is om de objecten te voelen.
Ligt dit aan de textuur, de hantering, het formaat, geef hier een uitgebreide omschrijving bij.
Verwoord het uiterlijk van elk product en geef hierbij een duidelijke uitleg over het nut van het
voelen van het voorwerp.
Plaats de vijf afbeeldingen in een Powerpointpresentatie, plaats de tekst in een Word document
en mail deze twee bestanden uiterlijk zondag 25 april 24.00 uur door naar
vormtaalhva@gmail.com. Vermeld in de bestandsnaam je naam, je klas en de opdracht:
naam_klas_voelen.ppt.

Bezoek voor 25 april de expositie Een Mooi Ding in museum Hilversum. Tijdens deze excursie kan
ook een bezoek worden gebracht aan de Dudok Dependance.

Major functions of APS
APS can provide information to pedestrians about:
Existence of and location of the pushbutton
Beginning of the WALK interval
Direction of the crosswalk and location of the destination curb
Intersection street names in Braille, raised print, or through speech messages
Intersection signalization with a speech message
Intersection geometry through tactile maps and diagrams, or through speech
messages
Analyzing the traffic control system

Is this a signalized intersection?

Do I need to push a button to actuate the WALK interval? If so, where is the button?
Is the button close enough to the crosswalk that I will have time to push the button,
position myself correctly at the crosswalk, and reestablish my alignment facing the
destination curb before the onset of the WALK interval?
Which button controls the WALK interval for the street I want to cross?
Does it stop traffic on one street, or all traffic?
Do cars still turn during the WALK interval?
Is there a second button on the median or crossing island that I must push?
Will there be a surge of parallel traffic telling me the WALK interval has begun? Will I
be able to hear it over other, concurrent traffic sounds?
