1. A car begins to move from rest and accelerates with an acceleration of 12ms -2
for 10s. Calculate the distance travelled. (ans: 600m)
2. A car travels for 30 minutes and is brought to rest by application of its brakes.
The distance travelled before stopping is 9km. Calculate
a. Average velocity in the first 30 minutes. (ans: 18kmh -1)

3. A car of mass 600kg accelerates from a position of rest with a uniform
acceleration of 25 ms-2. Calculate:
