Leadership Twin Cities is now taking applications for the 2010-2011 class. This program is a nine month
course on the region outside corporate walls. You will discuss as you learn, create new business
connections and define what it means for you to be a leader. This is done while visiting our community
museums, hospitals, performance halls and government agencies. Applications are available on line at
the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce website or this link: http://bit.ly/LTC-Info (via Wendy

I am volunteering with the Pediatric Literacy Program at Hennepin County Medical Center, where the
state headquarters for Reach out and Read is also housed. The Reach out and Read program prepares
America’s children to succeed in school by partnering with doctors to prescribe books and encourage
families to read together. http://www.reachoutandread.org/cgi-bin/mn.pl The problem is - we need some
storage space in the metro area to store all books that are purchased or donated until they are
distributed. I'm looking for a company or organization with excess space to partner with on this great
program. Storage will be critical to maintaining and expanding the program in MN. Need 500 sq feet,
secure long-term storage, convenient parking for loading/unloading boxes of books, dry & low humidity,
accessible 1x/month. If you can help, please contact Betsy Hedstrom Khan via betsyhedstrom-at-
gmail.com. (via Betsy Hedstrom Khan)
